"Fear is overrated" Exactly. It is just one factor in winning as it lowers the opponents resolve and overall ability. But not a necessity. You can win other ways.
Players feared Jordan because they were scared he was going to dunk on their faces or heads.....which he did to half the league. Even big 7'0" 300lb Shaq said he was scared to death the first time he played against Jordan for fear of being a dunk highlight.
The entire time Bron was on the East people said it was easy. Now hes on the West and they say it again... People obviously fear him if they continue to run away.
MJ was great and I’ll never down someone for saying he’s the goat. That being said as a bron is the goat guy myself I can’t wait to see what brons documentaries look like when they start coming out. His story is gonna be insane and I really think people will appreciate his run more when it drops! That being said MJs docs were great!!

I’m not sure how people laugh at the idea of LeBron being the GOAT. I still think MJ is the greatest but, LeBron is spectacular especially now. He is like a cheat code.
Fear is not overrated. When your peers, who are also the best in the world, feel dread or worry because they aren't confident they can win -- that is a major psychological advantage. It leads to opponents playing tight or creating stress for their teammates. It also usually leads to losing.
@katrina chavez No doubt, there is no stat for measuring confidence level, and that plays a big role in whether you win or lose in anything. Basketball. Darts. Cards. Hitting. Pitching. High confidence is Steph Curry, low confidence is Ben Simmons. If they played one on one and Steph made his first two shots and Ben missed his first two shots, just on confidence (or fear) alone Steph would likely win.
4-6....8 pts in the FINALS...Winning bubble chips after 4 mo layoffs...13th place seeding. Doesn't sound like dominance to me. ..Not compared to mj at least.

Doesn't matter. Hes respected because of the way he approached the game. It would've been the exact same back then especially with how he dominated the game
A Lebron documentary won't really be that interesting. That isn't because I don't like Lebron or don't consider him on the same tier as Jordan, but his personality is honestly very boring and, like Colin said, he is a very open book that we already know about. There would not be that much to learn. He wasn't as aggressive as MJ, as passionate and dedicated as Kobe, as Fun loving as Magic, as competitive as Bird. Lebron is, as he puts it, just a kid from Akron. He is nothing more as a personality. A documentary on someone like Tim Duncan with the Spurs' dynasty would be much more interesting, because Duncan was very private and the personalities of the people behind the success in the San Antonio have not been as deeply explored.
Michael elevated his team. Colin should understand that the biggest drawback to labeling LeBron as the goat is that he team jumped and tried to stack the deck (which no other great did). The other greats, took the hand they were dealt, and made it into something…which is what Michael did. Give MJ one additional all star and he produces 6 championships. He has a résumé unparalleled. LeBron is great, but not the greatest.
He only mentioned Jordan getting past the Celtics and Pistons but forgot other teams Jordan had to get through. ⁉️He forgot teams like the Cavaliers with Brad Daugherty ➕Ron Harper & Mark Price and then the Knicks. That Knicks-Bulls rivalry was classic. Dam Cmon. Even the great great Indiana Pacers with team chemistry led by coach Larry Bird (I think) lol They took Jordan to a game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals I believe + Reggie Miller and more great players. Can’t compare ➗🟰➕Jordan had much much more & much better top level talented and serious competition and opponents. Plus some legendary rivalries and franchises Jordan had to and did conquer. Can’t deny it *Jordan ✅Everyone witnessed it
That Celtics team had 5 HOF players, that Pistons team had 3 HOF players and people don't even mention the 76ers they had 5 HOF players. Barkley, Dr. J, Mo Cheeks, Bob Mcadoo, and Moses Malone on that squad. That's just trying to get through the Eastern conference.
I wish Colin would stop the attacks on MJ. It gets old. We all know MJs life and nba career. We know another about what he's done after basketball. No one is denying the struggles he faced, or how he won. What Colin should address is the facts that he never wants to address about Lebron. Like Lebron saying he didn't like white people, how Lebron didn't help out the people in Cleveland until he was called out for it. How Lebron doesn't make his teammates better and stats back this up. How Lebron needed to play with more all star teammates and he still lost more than he won. How Lebron missed the playoffs 4 times in his career. How Lebron got bounced in the first round as well. Why doesn't he address this stuff. Not all has to do with basketball. But it's the same concept like how he and his protégé nick continue their assaults in off the court stuff.
White ppl say it all the time to ppl who aren't white, how they don't like them. I'm not a Bron fan at ALL. But he doesn't have to like white ppl if he doesn't want to. 🙄
lack of social media has absolutely nothing to do with why were all fascinated by MJ. we're fascinated b/c he's literally one of the greatest human beings to have ever lived. his mindset, that is the fascination. period.
Very surprised that Colin doesn't see through all the Overhype surrounding LeBron James. Colin, you look old enough to have seen Jordan dominate his era. MJ and Bird better players than LeStat.
Jordan in his whole NBA career played with 2 HOF players. I repeat 2! (Rodman- is a defensive specialist & a terrific rebounder & Pippen- is a great defensive player & a great complimentary player for Jordan). Let that sink in! By the way, I know a lot of you are going to say Jordan was nothing until Pippen came along. Well, Pippen would not be in the HOF if it weren't for MJ who elevated his game. If you don't believe me take a look at the season when MJ was out!
@moejoe1451 oh when they was 1 call away from going to the eastern Conference finals... yeah I remember. How many serious did Jordan win without Pippen? Jordan himself said without Scottie Pippin there's no 6 chips. You don't have to down him
@@DennisKing7979 Not downing Scottie. I actually like Scottie but everyone seems to have the same narrative that without Scottie, MJ would have 0 championships. Scottie also went to HOU & POR but nobody talks about what he did when he was there.

Crazy how ppl say Lebron Dominated but those same people wouldn’t say the Buffalo Bills dominated or Jerry West dominated And both of them have a losing record in either the championship games or finals
Jordan is the GOAT stop the comparisons with Lebron. Lebron is an amazing top 5 player to ever played the game. MJ was a poet on the floor and a master at closing and winning games. His performance on the floor was surreal he made you want to go to your backyard and imitate his moves because of greatness.
The is the standard thee goat. MJ is a man’s man, he was mentally and physically tough. MJ displayed a winners mentality and was greatness. The media has tried for 10+ years to convince you that LeBron James is on Michael Jordan’s level and he’s just not.
MJ was better than James. One quits, shrinks, ships teammates out of town, leaves teams, and less accomplished than the other. Still tv folks make a silly comparison.
More interesting? Not even close. LeBron is EVERYTHING to the NBA. MJ was an incredible player and competitor. But he played basketball, Gambled, and played golf. Private = Boring
You're right Colin. Lebron doesn't need to worry about the physicality, hand checking, hard fouls. That's why he can dominate. Different story if he had to.
Too bad your explanation about fear is far from Mario Charlmers and it comes from the lack of not being able to play sports there are some things you just don't know and will never know unless you actually go through it because not all things can be analyzed by just being a spectator but good pitch for the movie AIR because it is greatness at its best...
I think what Magic did in his first season probably will never ever be achieved. In finals he scored 42 points, he was a point guard started as a center and played all five position in the series deciding game, and adding to this on road. I think just by this he was definitely not in any way less than LJ
Lennox Lewis, the guy who got knocked out by Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman, and the guy who beat Holyfield and Tyson when they were well past their primes, was a better fighter than George Foreman? Yeah, OK, Colin.
Now that Lebron is gone the animosity and rivalries are coming back. Lebron wanted to be friends with everyone. That old school mentality is coming back.

Very good commentary: on the history of the NBA, and how things have changed how things were, and how they are now, even as a 70 year old man I learned a lot from this commentary
Every era is not equal.
Especially when people lie and act like defense was better in the 90s. Physical doesn't mean good
@@amc1140 The greatest defenders played in the 90s for a reason
@@amc1140 The game was much more physical meaningit was harder to score which quite literally means the defense was better
@@amc1140 anything after the 90s is and will be forever soft. FOH 🤡
@@midwestkrazy83turner50 Youre so right. People think the NFLers hit hard today. They just dont know, guys were getting teeth knocked out, eyes gouged, broken whatever, and still playing. Ronnie Lott cut off part of his finger to NOT miss a playoff game. Today, dudes get hangnail and take 3 weeks off. LT payed once with one arm and had a beastly state line. Arm in a brace. Still had 3 sacks i believe. 1-2 forced fumbles. Or sth like that. MLB, NBA, NFL are ruines because they took out the physucility. Took the contact out of contact sports. MLB, cant slide into second hard anymore. No home plate collisions anymore. NFL--flag football. LT couldnt play today. For me, NO GOATS in this era.
Colin casually flexing that he gets private jet ads on his Twitter lmaoooo
And they're cheap lol
Colin is definitely on the pj’s now lmao
What does Lebron Dominate? The Raptors stopppppppppp. Against the Mavs he had 8 points and a 17 point game in the finals. Stop and how do you have a job?
Duncan won 5 chips and Lebron has won 4, plus 4 MVPs, fear is overrated, just shut up and get it done.
MJ is not probably the greatest player ever, he is undoubtly the greatest player ever.
"Fear is overrated"
Exactly.
Take a shot every time he says the name “Sunny”
The entire time Bron was on the East people said it was easy. Now hes on the West and they say it again... People obviously fear him if they continue to run away.
This is too much logic for the haters
Easy? He is in 4th year in LA and there is chance he will miss play off 3 out of that 4 years.
Like how he stared talking about private jets companies like the majority of us where going to relate lol
Bron as goat lmaooooooooooooo
It's gonna be filled with a bunch of hatred and MJ naysaying. Every other scene is gonna be, MJ would never. Smh I hope I'm wrong but I know it gonna be an MJ fan the produce it and it's gonna be pure garbage
@@_jizl_ you’re saying its gna be MJ Fan stuff because most of it will be true.
I think the fact that we know “most” of Bron story takes the mystery out of it. Off the court we knew little about Mike.
I’m not sure how people laugh at the idea of LeBron being the GOAT. I still think MJ is the greatest but, LeBron is spectacular especially now. He is like a cheat code.
DADS are the backbones of families 🤦🏿♂️
Fear is not overrated. When your peers, who are also the best in the world, feel dread or worry because they aren't confident they can win -- that is a major psychological advantage. It leads to opponents playing tight or creating stress for their teammates. It also usually leads to losing.
Very true! And it enhances the confidence of the teammates of the player that is feared. Steve Kerr alluded to that - how it made him better mentally.
NBA added zone defense which lead to more threes.
4-6....8 pts in the FINALS...Winning bubble chips after 4 mo layoffs...13th place seeding. Doesn't sound like dominance to me. ..Not compared to mj at least.
Is this dude unaware that social media didn’t exist during MJs time? I bet MJ wouldn’t be as beloved if it did…
Goes to show how rotten most of social media is if there wasn't social media Draymond would be Stacy King in other words who????? Nobody would care about Jack and Matt Barnes opinions about anything...social media is deteriorating ppls morals
The comment I’ve been looking for
Doesn't matter. Hes respected because of the way he approached the game. It would've been the exact same back then especially with how he dominated the game
Yes he would
A Lebron documentary won't really be that interesting.
Jordan is Goat why is this a debate
Defense in the 90s was a joke. No illegal defense and 7 foot athletic wing players. Does nobody rewatch games?
Michael elevated his team. Colin should understand that the biggest drawback to labeling LeBron as the goat is that he team jumped and tried to stack the deck (which no other great did). The other greats, took the hand they were dealt, and made it into something…which is what Michael did. Give MJ one additional all star and he produces 6 championships. He has a résumé unparalleled. LeBron is great, but not the greatest.
Michael Jordan still the best, only Kobe Bryant close.
Can’t deny it
*Jordan
✅Everyone witnessed it
That Celtics team had 5 HOF players, that Pistons team had 3 HOF players and people don't even mention the 76ers they had 5 HOF players.
Finally, someone said it!
Sir once you saw him and Nick Wright on his show more often, you know where all of this is coming from.
Colin is paid for by Clutch Sports
Jordan in his whole NBA career played with 2 HOF players. I repeat 2! (Rodman- is a defensive specialist & a terrific rebounder & Pippen- is a great defensive player & a great complimentary player for Jordan). Let that sink in! By the way, I know a lot of you are going to say Jordan was nothing until Pippen came along. Well, Pippen would not be in the HOF if it weren't for MJ who elevated his game. If you don't believe me take a look at the season when MJ was out!
You mean when they won 56 games?
@@DennisKing7979 the year he let the knicks bully him & didn't want to go back in the game because kukoc was taking the last shot.
IMO MJ would have won at least 2-3 without Scottie. On the other hand Scottie would not be one of the 75th greatest players & I would also argue that he would not be in the Hall. Scottie also went to HOU & POR but nobody talks about what he did when he was there.
@@DennisKing7979 pippen was a solid player. I do think MJ would’ve won championships with another good all start talent as well. It just so happened to be pippen. Pippen moved on and went to other great teams after leaving the bulls and did nothing
You’re on point! 👏👏👏
It was just a coincidence that the 1st trailer was just a couple of weeks after Lebron became the all-time scoring leader...
MJ Was BETTER, PERIOD!!!!
No shine for the Father…(surprise )…
Colin needs to go back and watch Jordan score 63 points against that all time great 86 Celtics team in the playoffs. He was so much better than everybody in that game (including Bird) that it was almost laughable. It makes me wonder if he ever even watched Jordan play.
Well said Collin!
Fantastic job C!!!!
Mike had a strong american mom … but they drag lamar jackson for having his mom as his agent
Lets get physical physical
Incoming Nick Wright to talk about that private jet comment lol
Well spoken segment, as usual. Thanks Colin 😊
The secrecy of the life of certain stars makes them more interesting.
You fear lebron's physicality not his skillset
Really
MJ, was and is the greatest, case closed!
his father was a big part of his life before he passed
Can’t wait to see this movie. Thanks
Truth is there is no competition in this league today. Players today are to buddy buddy. They show no sense of fear.
6:50 LeBron has no skills besides pushin-off & running over opponents ‼️💯💯
So what do you think he would do in a more physical league then
@@vensonj flop complain & cramp up more
Colin this ain’t mystery it’s the Internet 😂
I hate watching the NBA is too soft MJ my favorite sport that I like to play basketball and I have never seen nothing like MJ
Magic is the first and only Magic!!!! Don’t ever get that mistaken!!!! The Kobe comparison is a fair assessment but Magic can never be the 2nd Lebron!!! EVER
MJ stays private like a boss
Indeed, fear is overrated. Thanks for the insightful comment!!!
The glazing is crazy bro must work at Krispy Kreme
Crazy how ppl say Lebron Dominated but those same people wouldn’t say the Buffalo Bills dominated or Jerry West dominated And both of them have a losing record in either the championship games or finals
Totally disagree about magic. But hey so what
No one would watch a 10 episode series of Le Bron. He needed Kobe to bail him out in Olympics lol
MJ is the best and greatest ever and it's not really close.
Magic&Bird played for rings& bragging rights mostly. It started back in college. The shoe deals came because they were winners
MJ was better than James. One quits, shrinks, ships teammates out of town, leaves teams, and less accomplished than the other. Still tv folks make a silly comparison.
Well with the new age of social media and everyone has a phone TMZ trailing celebrities with cameras, this is the world we live in!
More interesting?
Not even close. LeBron is EVERYTHING to the NBA.
MJ was an incredible player and competitor. But he played basketball, Gambled, and played golf.
Private = Boring
You're right Colin. Lebron doesn't need to worry about the physicality, hand checking, hard fouls. That's why he can dominate. Different story if he had to.
well said colin
Is that last dance 2? Omg…
Lbj couldn't even fill them shoes!😂
Too bad your explanation about fear is far from Mario Charlmers and it comes from the lack of not being able to play sports there are some things you just don't know and will never know unless you actually go through it because not all things can be analyzed by just being a spectator but good pitch for the movie AIR because it is greatness at its best...
I think what Magic did in his first season probably will never ever be achieved. In finals he scored 42 points, he was a point guard started as a center and played all five position in the series deciding game, and adding to this on road. I think just by this he was definitely not in any way less than LJ
The actress who plays his mom, is Viola Davis.
nice segment. the kind you only get with CC these days. nice one colin
Lennox Lewis, the guy who got knocked out by Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman, and the guy who beat Holyfield and Tyson when they were well past their primes, was a better fighter than George Foreman? Yeah, OK, Colin.
The idea of LeBron James not being a Monster in the 90s due to not having to deal with a forearm on his back or harder fouls is a simple-minded one.
This segment must be killing Mcintyre and Nick Wrong.
Now that Lebron is gone the animosity and rivalries are coming back. Lebron wanted to be friends with everyone. That old school mentality is coming back.
Jordan v Lebron debate has become a trite topic
Colin slowly turning into skip Bayless lol
FACTS!!!!
