Very clear explanation, Sir. Thank you...
Just little bit unclear about the stressing of pronunciation for the months in a year. The first or the second syllable..but it's a good lesson overall..
I will try to make a better video next time.
@@ShawEnglishOnline Thank you, Sir. Can't wait for your next videos.
Like the way how you explain the lessons, very clear and patient - no rush. Students will have more time to understand during explanation.
Your humble personality and sincerity help too, they will be more comfortable in learning English. I hope you keep it that way, Sir.

Thank you.
Basic caleder expressions:
One day,a day
A month,months
7 days =aweek
Thank you for this lesson! It's strange this rule of don't pronounce the "1991" year like a "one thousand nine hundred ninety one"... Because with two hundred we can! Why can I say "two thousand twenty two", but not "one thousand [...]"? It's because of the size of the sentence? That's a prejudice with the old people LOL! Just kidding xD
Sorry, I don't make the rules. haha This is just the usuage.
your so good lol
Thank you for watching!!😃

2024 ❤️🔥
Hi. Thank you for the visit.
Who is watching 2021 it's summer?
I guess just you...
I am in 2020
Thank you from 2021.
Hello Robin,
How would we pronounce about ' 20/11/2017 '?
1) 20th is not 'Twenty-th'. 20th is 'Twenti=E=th'
2) What about 30th? 30th is 'Thirti=E=th'.
3) Move on. ' 11 ' is just November.
4) The year of ' 2017 ' has 2 kinds of pronunciation.
' Two thousand seventeen '
' Twenty seventeen '
5) I think Canadian or American English don't pronounce ' T ' in the word of ' twenTy '.
It can be heard as like just ' Tweny '.
6) Perhaps, in British English, ' T ' in ' twenTy ' would be pronounced.
I should hear it as like ' TwenTy seventeen ' literally.
7) How would we pronounce the date of 11/11/2017?
In British style, 'Eleventh, November, Two thousand seventeen'.
In Canadian or American style, 'November, Eleventh, Twenty seventeen'.
8) How about 11/11?
British style, Canadian style, American style are the same on it.
It's 'November eleventh'.
9) How can we ask the date?
' What's the date?'
10) How do we answer the question?: 'When is your departure?'
'It's =on= November eleventh.'
' It's on Sunday.' is also all right.
11) How do we answer the question by only the date?: 'When will you go to Canada?'
' It's =on=the=eleventh.
12) How do we answer the question by only the season?: 'When have you moved to the present address?'
' =In= summer.'
13) How can you write the answer to the same question as 12) by just the season and the year in a business letter?
' This is to inform you that we have moved to the following address in= the= summer=of=2017.'.
X-$
