Whoa!! Great guide! I love that you cover plenty of info for those who are with someone who drinks too (vibes, your views, the level of noise, etc)Well done!
Little known fact- way back when there used to be a picnic area just outside the west side that served beer, snacks. etc.. guests could duck out for a few pints then come right back in to the park. So even tho DL technically didn't serve alcohol, it kinda did...
I’m so happy they are doing this the way they are. When I have a reservation at Disneyland, I just wanna sit down and have a glass of wine. I don’t need to walk around with a beer.
There is a great story about how Bob Gurr, when planning the Monorail chose to put the station at the Hotel near a bar. It was so you could drop off the kids at the Rocket Jets spinner ride on top of the people mover port (notoriously long line), hop over to the hotel for a martini, and get back in time before they were done. “Uncle Bob” had been thinking about us the whole time. The Wagner’s renamed it the Monorail Bar…. It is long since gone. But just goes to show you the ingenuity these folks had regarding alcohol accessibility.
Not since Cal Ripken Jr has there been such a touching meaningful victory lap. Amazing, actually made my eyes sweat hearing everyone yell congrats to you, the hot, the bell, the snow. I mean come on!! Well done Brickey, well done!
The problem that I have with Oga's Cantina is that you usually always have to stand up with a bunch of strangers. Doesn't make for a pleasant time, in my opinion.
Why? They set strict limits on qty so people can't just pound beers all day. Responsible adults can have a couple drinks with lunch without turning into frat boys lol.
Video was fun
Brickey is second to none

Wow, I didn't know that before. Thank you
Near the current picnic area outside near bathrooms and lockers? Or different location?

I'm not a big drinker but a cocktail on the patio at River Belle Terrace does sound like fun. Thanks for the info.

Thank you for this. I travel alone, age 55, no kids, and I want adult beverages without feeling judged.
Cheers!!! ❤️
