I'm so glad you made the switch to UA-cam, because I'm not on the clock app and so wouldn't have found your content! I had a similar nail polish trajectory, starting off with Holo Taco, then happily falling victim to the 30th Mooncat targeted ad I'd seen (my current faves, I love everything about them, their owner Michelle is such a beacon of hope for an ADHD creative girlie like me), now I'm getting curious about other indie brands. I don't find myself getting as many HTs as I did at the start, and I don't often find myself reaching for them as often because I like my nails to be loud with minimal effort 😅 but it will always hold a special place in my heart for having gotten me started on my mini special interest in nail polish. And I wouldn't be as decent at painting nails in a solid color as I currently am without Cristine's tips and tricks (I won't say good, but I think I'm better than the average untrained person you'd pluck off the street). But back to your content! I love your vibes and your humor, and your editing is so fun. It's also fun that Titan and Nail Husband are such prominent parts of the videos, because most of the swatcher reviews I see are one person alone in their room/studio. Those are great, too, of course, but I love the casual, communal atmosphere baked into your videos. I also really enjoyed you sharing the whole emotional journey you went on with your pinky in the winter nail art video! I could go on a whole separate essay about the important lessons to be taken from it, but I've blathered on enough already. In sum, I felt seen in my struggles, and it came out fantastic. Omg please show us your entire collection of Death Valley Nails polishes! I’m obsessed with their dust to dust collection. They are one of the first indie nail polish brands that I really connected with. My favorite is Moonstone.
Always in love with the extra Titan footage, and truly loving that your husband is getting more pop-ups as the channel develops. I still have at least four polishes bought this last year that I have only swatched but not worn yet, so this video was a good reminder to get painting. I tried out Cadillacquer this year and loved their formula, you might want to check them out as they have loads of sparklies. I need to try Death Valley Nails, I stalk them on their socials, but haven't purchased yet.

Add my voice to people asking for Death Valley Nails!! I bought a few polishes from them because I saw the first thermal polish I was utterly stunned by and had to have, Lana Del Wraith. It’s so so so beautiful, it’s my new favorite polish I own, and I’m going to be sad when it stops changing. There are not a lot of DVN swatch videos out there, so if you decided to cover all their releases, you’d have the market cornered. I really love your channel!! Your presentation and style is really good. It checks out that you’re a teacher; you have a clear, attention grabbing style with a sense of humor, like every good teacher I’ve ever had. The indie brands I keep on drooling over are ILNP, Cuticula, Sassy Sauce and Lurid Lacquer. I also really like the polishes ive gotten from Glisten and Glow.
If you like metallics, Rogue Lacquer has some super fun shattered metallic formulas. I'm relatively new to the nail polish community, and I got here through Holo Taco, I love watching content about their products and hearing what other folks like and dislike. I saw that alien infatuation and perisocial were two of their top sellers so it seems like lots of folks agree with you! Personally, I also love Sugar Rush and ivory Tower.
I'm a November baby. I was so sad about Topaz Tears TT after seeing the spills...but in person...TT is so lovely. Throw some Fallen Flake Taco on it and it is so warm cozy fall vibes. I panic purchased a 2nd bottle on Vault day. I don't think it will be a favorite, but it will be one of my favorites from this year.

More notes! I would love a review of Death Valley's Dust to Dust polishes, I have Cornflower and it looks amazing over Ivory Tower! It's delicate and soft in a completely different way from any other polish I own. My favorite polish released this year has to be Peridon't Bother Me. The GLOW. The SHINE. I swear the pigments will capture any available lightsource and dance them back at you threefold.

Congrats on all your success! Keep it up. I have a tip for magnetics. DRK Nails has something called Magic Effect. Just paint as many coats as you need, without magnetizing. Then after the last coat, use Magic Effect before you hold the magnet in place. Game changer! I started watching Simply many years ago, while I was a nail biter.😂 Now that I have nails, I am obsessed and have bought 100 polishes this year. I got the 2 birthstone colors you did, plus my actual birthstone Birthday Brat. Love those colors!

I've been really digging blues this year, so my standouts are Spyglass, Vitamin Glow, and Moon Lagoon from Holo Taco (fellow Holo Taco enthusiast here!). Some brands I've discovered this year that I really like are Emily de Molly, Shleee Polish, Cuticula, and very recently Cracked Polish. Cuticula has a polish called Chocolate Milk Tea I think you'd like. It's a chocolate milk colored crelly with rainbow glass flakes and black flakes. It's one of my favorites from the brand! Anyway, I hope you and husband have a wonderful New Year!

I think Cirque has a gold reflective topper! If you like gold, Cirque has a lot of good golds.
