Nick has done so much for Princess' brand recognition. There are hundreds of thousands of people who now know, because of aquaholic, that Princess are the pinnacle of quality and luxury. The proverbial Rolls Royce of boats. Methinks it's high time they gave him one. Come on Princess... Smugglers blues 3 would be the greatest advertising you'll ever get. Who's with me?

The 50’ boats are such a nice sized boat for weekender/live aboard usage. I like the open versions of these boats, kind of similar to Amanda’s boat from Luso Yachting(thanks btw for recommending her channel a while back). I very much like this style/size of boat. Roomy, yet small enough to self crew and get into the majority of marinas. As usual Nick, a very nice way to start my Sunday. Thank you so much

Hugely enjoyable tour, and what a lovely boat. I'd probably prefer the deck saloon, and indeed you could get a decent used Fleming and head over the horizon for that kind of money, but for coastal warm weather boating this would be hard to beat. It also shows what can be done with modern decor - American boat and RV builders take note.

Beautiful boat, as if to be expected from Princess. Even with the name recognition, I don't think I'd be willing to spend that much for a 50 footer, not without a few changes anyway. Personally, I'd be willing to give up some of the garage space for a little bit more room in the engine compartment, especially since it looked like there were slots for chocks in the swim platform.

  • @BucsFTW
    @BucsFTW 3 роки тому +2

    A Few Thoughts:
First of all... Princess makes one sexy-ass vessel...!
At first, I thought it was too airy and open up top... And then we go down below, and I realize... If you seek shelter - the Saloon is so warm and comfy, but if you want to be 'outside', albeit enjoying all the comforts of a balmy Florida day, the bridge is absolute perfection...! The cleanliness of the retractable roof is "classic Princess" as Nick would put it. Princess ain't gonna let no roof sag...!
The Flybridge... What incredibly sexy lines and finishes. This is a perfect example of why high-gloss finishes don't necessarily define 'quality' Nick. I stand by that...
I would one day love to see a boat pivoting about its axis utilizing the IPS drive...
What...?!? No 'Mee-Lay' cooking...??? How pedestrian. But I love quality hardware... A wash. It's "back splash" mate.
On these incredibly luxurious vessels, can they not come up with something better than venitian friggin' blinds...?!? Yuck.
    'Toodles' @ 6:42...
Gorgeous shower stall in the en suite...! (This is a FIFTY FRIGGIN' FOOT BOAT!)
Okay... The Master is just ridiculously beautiful. Is this a fifty footer, or a fifty METRE boat?
    Clearly... Smuggler's Blues III material...!
Volvo powers so very many of these craft... Clearly a desirable and dependable engine. First engines I've ever seen lift points clearly attached. F'n brilliant...!
Another awesome tour Nick... Thank you sir. Onward to a MILLION subscribers...!

I understand it is a Princess and I love them but we can buy larger (and for different purposes) boats for the same price.

1.8 M USD is about 1.3 M GBP, compared to the 600 k GBP F45 it does seem a lot more money for another 5 foot, assuming all prices correct of course.

I would be torn if had had the choice between the 2. I do like the Princess brand though so would be chuffed with either. Love that you are a completionist and show us both. Thanks @Nick

What a great little boat! Perfect for a couple with a kid or occasional guests. However, the open concept might be slightly better suited for somewhat warmer and less damp climes, I would think...

Lovely. If you can have a sliding roof & extending roof over the aft deck, why can’t you have an extending cover to close in the aft deck?. Like an auto soft top on a car.

There is a canopy to enclose the back, but on all boats you have to fit it manually.

Hi Nick, I'd love to see inside those tender garages when you encounter them. Do the sellers just not want you to open them?
