I am from the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania and have a Fujifilm X-T3. I bought it about 2 years or so ago after a long period of research and shopping. My main reasons at the time were price for the performance delivered, cost of lenses down the road and familiarity. The X-T3 could do many things beyond my ability therefore I could grow with it. The last camera body I had prior to it was a Ricoh XR-P back in the 80s. So, the dials were familiar. I shopped for over a year before making a purchase. I'm a very patient shopper and that led me to a barely used X-T3 that came with the 18-55, a non battery grip, extra batteries and an extra charger. I still love using it and learning with it! BTW, Jerred is awesome. I am also a former teacher who has communicated with him about that. Love his stuff!!!
That's a great gift to be a patient shopper! And it's so cool that you are connected with Jerred - and a former teacher! I actually am a former English teacher, though still in education doing management work. Thanks for watching, and more importantly for the comment!
@@WesKriesel I am a newly retired teacher. I taught grades 2 - 8 over 32 years. Most of my time was spent as a computer/technology education teacher. Thanks for the reply and have a great week.
(Xt4, waiting for X pro 4 before I get a Xh2)I chose Fuji for the lenses! I came from canon, so you already know price, size, and internal focus in the lens.
X Pro 4! That will be something to wait for! We both came from Canon so we both know the pain points and the joys of Fuji! Do you have a favorite lens?
What camera do you shoot with? Leave a comment and let me know!

I was fortunate enough to be asked by Fujifilm Philippines to conduct an official workshop for them last weekend. I tackled the basics of Fujifilm lenses in relation to portrait photography. One of my talking points is that why I went with Fujifilm - and that’s since 2014. I’ve tried Canon R5, the Sony A7 series, etc. but I always go back to Fujifilm. The system cultivates my creativity. It makes me want to shoot - and for what I shoot, it’s more than capable enough. This is an intangible that no spec sheet can beat. 😊
I love it! How cool is that!? I agree with you - Fuji makes me want to shoot more!
