The Witness's raid boss theme is probably what I'm most excited to hear in TFS
I just hope it was mixed before Michael got canned. Might have another doom eternal situation on our hands.
As far as I'm aware they said all final shape music was finished before the layoffs
@@Big_kahuna_guy Michael has completed all of the Final shape soundtrack, thats why he got layed of, becuase they had no work for him
@@WalterGerig oh I know. What I’m saying is I hope it’s mixed correctly. Mick Gordon was “done” with his soundtrack but they canned him before he had time to mix it for the gameplay. That’s what scares me

If someone had told me this was a leaked soundtrack for a season or a raid encounter, I'd have believed them without a second thought tbh.

That transition was majestic af.
The title is pretty fascinating. Teleology is a philosophy that sees purpose in ends rather than causes. This makes the outcome the actual or final cause. Basically in teleology actions are explained by their results. This is very interesting stuff as it relates to the nature of the Precursors, The Witness, and The Final Shape.
So, like a "ends justify the means" type of view?
@@mediocregamer2484 Exactly, which is why it's so fascinating when it comes to The Final Shape and The Witness. The purpose of the final shape is to end suffering, but in doing so it causes so much suffering. But under this belief it wouldn't matter because all suffering would end for all time forever.
@@dredgenspaceanother interesting thing to note though, is that through the FS Collectors Edition lore book we learn that everything it's been doing to specifically us and the Eliksni was out of essentially malice, and immensely inefficient as a result. It didn't have to waste years making us suffer, it could have just swooped in and wiped us out in minutes or hours like it has so many other species. It hates us, for some reason.
@@bbjuice7837 That is interesting! I haven't read the collector's lore yet but if this is true It has some fascinating implications on the character of the witness.
@@bbjuice7837 Honestly, I always had my personal theory that humanity itself was somehow born from darkness. It isn't crazy considering Exos and Awoken already are, but the thing is, TWQ revealed that the Hive were a species always meant to recieve the gift of Light, the Witness stole them and made them tools of his dark crusade.
I remember some lore tabs have compared human atrocities to the effects of darkness and BL confirms we always the ability to master Stasis (and noe Strand). Wouldn't it be interesting if humanity was somehow raised to be a part of the the Final Shape, but in symmetry to the Hive, the Traveler saved us and instead made us the one chance she has to stop the Final Shape
From 4:14 until the end you can almost feel the uncountable genocides, Collapses, Whirlwinds, catastrophes, and infinitely unmeasurable atrocities this monster is responsible for pushing you to finally end it. Like as if the souls of the murdered trillions are telling you "do it. Just a little more. You can do it. You can bring this to a close once and for all."
This piece fully encapsulates the fury of the witness, the line "its rage could burn the very stars to cinders" comes to mind. Amazing work as always!
That slow chord progression at 3:20 with the heavy clang hammer percussion, leading into the Guardian refrain is something juicy, very satisfied.
Now this is a track that gets my heart pumping. Truly feels like an encounter with the most dangerous being in the universe. Terrifying

It’s insane to hear a salvation reharmonization I wrote 3 years ago in a fully produced track. I never thought it could actually work, but here we are. You’re starting to scare me with how good you’re getting at this. Please don’t stop making music❤

If we don’t get something like this for the final fight for the witness then ima be real disappointed. This is exactly what I’d imagine the witnesses final raid boss ost to sound like. It truly sounds like this is the final fight.
Love the music, really excited for tomorrow and the music of tfs going to be an emotional roller coaster through the final story of light and dark. Been a hell of a ride, but promise me one thing everyone. In the words of banshee, “ put the witness into the ground”.

From a lore perspective, the name of your track goes hard af. Oh, and 3:18 when the Pyramid theme turns heroic is incredible 👏

@@bbjuice7837 So he would be kind of looking DOWN at us, fun fact, Calus at the end of lightfall in concept art is only the size of the witness up to his ankle
Having listened to both this and the official piece, I personally think this is more fitting. The official raid theme is genuinely outstanding, no discredit to it because it's a gorgeous piece, but I do feel like the more heavy use of synths, the Darkness motif, etc. fits the theme of "taking on THE big bad of the Black Fleet"
Absolutely stunning work with this, as some others have said, if I had never heard this with the context of it being fanmade, I would've thought it was official music!

Too many things to list it all but I write, compose, and produce everything in FL Studio making use of plugins and samplers like Kontakt, Omnisphere, and Opus.

For whoever liked the comment thanks and if you're reading this Breshi I would love to see a raid that is based on Touhou Project like sure I would do it but I lack the skills to even do stuff like this I have reached out to Destimix a while back asking for the same thing after they were done with the Io raid soundtrack I wonder if you're up for a task like this and both versions of the fight forever soundtrack is amazing I wish that you could continue with the fan raid soundtracks in fact you can use this idea of mine to further enhance your experience with making soundtracks like that
