I have to say that it is true. I have the game on PC and it looks overal okay but there just tiny little thing that can make it looks so much better and it isn't hard to fix for the devs. The devs from need for speed probably won't even care about it. I discovered that the turning on 16x AF with on highest texture filtering quality from nvidia control panel fixes alot. And the games most effective AA option is TAA but thanks to the stupic ingame sharpening and filmgrain you can't turn off there is basically no point. If the devs fix the texture filtering and let us disable the filmgrain and sharpening it would already look miles better. And the TAA from the game leaves a bad trailing behind on the car mirrors.

Physics are also really bad, like you are driving a single object with no wheels and suspension instead of a normal car, wheels aren't even rotating like they should (wheels overspin when you go slow sometimes) and cars run almost the same on every surface and no matter the weather, and they turn like they are on rails. Also graphics is bad, everything is pink, purple and blue neon during the night and there is non-stop some weird tint filter, like a badly implemented ENB.
Would be nice if Heat removed Vignette during day time and the sharpening effect. Clearly made for night time. Looks perfect there. Else, FH4 is perfect.

Horizon 4 has way better driving physics and more options to tune the car exactly like you want it to behave while driving. I mean nfs is good in its own way but it is more of a arcade game and not a simulation.

NFS Heat I'd say has the aesthetic of an 80's action TV series during the day, and that of a Micheal Bay movie at night. Horizon has a more neutral realistic aesthetic. Neither are really much better than one another, they're just different aesthetics. The only difference in quality I see is Horizon has better terrain effects (Such as terrain deformation (Not shown in this video) and mud spatters), as well as water fluid dynamics.
Limit see, people go for the most realistic looks. I enjoy Heat more because the environment and cops, even graphics, allow for a retro kind of action appeal. I like it quite a bit.

I own Forza Horizon 3 and 4 and think genuinely they are the best car games to date in the overall package. but I played all NFS and will also get this one, I like their design and approach, I love the 80s neon vibe of palm city and can't wait to race during the night with all those neons and wet streets, on my 4K HDR10+ TV it will look gorgeous for sure... but I will get it on PC over PS4 pro as for racing I need the 60FPS. I don't mind moving my mini itx pc to the living room for 1-2 months.

It's true that nfs looks like it has an image filter. If you change the image of your monitor or TV or whatever, you can manage to delete it and have a normal image of the game. It's a really entertaining game, personally I recommend it as much as the Forza horizon.

Dree Chino heat only has 127 cars, and the last nfs (payback) came out in 2017. It’s 2019 so heat was probably made in like a year and like one or two months, so having 450 cars plus the sound and customization, you have to be dreaming, and in heat, theirs some cars that you can’t really do anything to cause it restricts you so yah, unless EA can get their hands on 450+ plus cars to record the sound instead of money then you can compare the games. And both are completely different and Forza is really competing with Grand Turismo so they can really care less.
I think the real comparison should be the future Forza Horizon 5 vs Need for Speed Heat. Honestly I think a more recent comparison between 2 very awesome games would be cool.
The differences between NFS Heat and Forza Horizon 4, is that there's cops in NFS :))))))) But In Forza we have more cars and better car settings. (Better settings I mean gearbox etc... I think...........)

It's true that nfs looks like it has an image filter. If you change the image of your monitor or TV or whatever, you can manage to delete it and have a normal image of the game. It's a really entertaining game, personally I recommend it as much as the Forza horizon.

I wanna see more driving comparison like driving at higher speeds, I hate how NFS shakes the camera a bit st higher speed giving that "warp soeed" illusion. I also want to see how the physics play in when you're driving at high speeds and you run off the road, or when you hit a car or a other player hits you. All things that should be seriously looked at in NFS

Dree Chino heat only has 127 cars, and the last nfs (payback) came out in 2017. It’s 2019 so heat was probably made in like a year and like one or two months, so having 450 cars plus the sound and customization, you have to be dreaming, and in heat, theirs some cars that you can’t really do anything to cause it restricts you so yah, unless EA can get their hands on 450+ plus cars to record the sound instead of money then you can compare the games.
And both are completely different and Forza is really competing with Grand Turismo so they can really care less.

In NFS the cars are glued to the ground which i hate the most. Plus Heat doesn't have Drag Race yet.

I forgot said this but different from FH 4 which look bright all the time, NFS lighting actually change when you in different direction, if you direction are towards the sun it’s bright af, if you doing the opposite it looking more dark

I still think NFS 2015 had realistic ass graphics for night time.
NFS feels more realistic because of the nice effects when driving acceleration, FH feels more like Grad Turismo EI don't feel the speed the power.. Maybe I have to Try them ti really see..

hey guys ... i'm brazilian and i'm here to say that without a doubt the forza is better than need, but not taking badness i'm a fan of need but it doesn't compare with forza, need looks like Instagram filters this damn xd!
