- Since 1993, Seven actors have sadly died. This video pays tribute to their work as artists.
Song - 'When We Found The Horizon' by 'Late Night Feeler'.
Corrections - Michael Jeter’s surname is mispronounced, it should be said as “Jee-dah” not “Jet-er”.
Mary Wickes is not the woman pictured with Lucille Ball.
Apologies! - Фільми й анімація
They missed Carmen Zapata who was in both Sister Act and Sister Act 2 as one of the choir nuns. Also known as the First Lady of the Hispanic theater. She died in 2014.
I absolutely love both of the Sister Act movies so with Sister Act 3 I hope they do a very nice memoriam for these actors that are gone. Thank you for this wonderful video
When I hear Lauryn Hill's voice at the beginning of Joyful Joyful it still brings tears to my eyes it's so beautiful
Such a beautiful tribute.. I got my daughters to watch Sister Act recently and they loved it. We're watching Sister Act 2 tonight.
Of such movies are the best memories made. I know they ll enjoy it
Really that's amazing, the movie is amazing and adorable, I just can't stop watching the movie....by the way nice meeting you on here, I hope you are having a wonderful time out there ??????
Both movies are classic! I don't know which one I like better. However I own both on dvd and I just enjoy both and have no beef with any of them. I will say that I'm glad Maggie's Smith character lightened up and was happier in the sequel. In the first movie she used to scare me as a kid because of how crabby she was alot of the time. She played the same type of character as Miss Matlock in The Secret Garden.
THEIR GONNA LOVE 💗 THAT ONE EVEN MORE THAT IS ONE OF 2 OF MY FAVORITE MUSICAL MOVIE’S
Sister Act 2 will forever be one of my favorite 90s movies of all time.
Mary Wickes was a great character actress . She played other nuns who drive buses . Usually she was comic relief in movies . 5:47
Actor! Calling a female performer an actress is an insult to the craft.
Yes. I loved her
Mary Who?
Mary Whickes
Who is that?
Rest in peace to all the actors we lost from that movie we love you
Don’t forget Barnard Hughes also played Grandpa Buzz on Blossom!
Respect to Ellen Dow for still performing at 99 and making it to 101.
God bless this child..
I first saw Ms. Dow in an hilarious episode of “ Designing Women” when Julia ( Sugarbaker ) had to do jury duty. Dow was her room mate while they were sequestered and Julia -frustrated that no verdict had been reached causing a delay with her dinner appointment with Jimmy Carter-mentioned she didn’t appreciate Dow’s character putting her” June Allyson bladder pads ( Depends ) on the nightstand for all to see !”
I never knew she was the rapper either wow
@@pocketdrummer84 Lol...yeah. I forgot about her rapping .
Remember her in the golden girls…. Epic actress
Remember that Mary Wicks also played a nun in the 60s movie "The Trouble with Angels" and it's sequel "Where Angels go, Trouble Follows" with Rosalind Russell playing Mother Superior
Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows, was one of my dad's all-time favorite movies. I like it too, it's a really fun watch.
Awesome! I loved seeing the actors' previous works / younger selves. And I've always loved the Wedding Singer grandma!!! What a surprise that she ws one of the nuns in Sister Act!!! She is a hero, living such an amazing long life!!!
Thank you :) I enjoyed discovering these actors pasts as well.
They are missed.
Yes exactly you're absolutely right. Gone but not forgotten.
I love this movie. I see it like a thousand times
Go with God Crispy...... ❤
i still howl with laughter everytime i hear that line 😂
Lol...I remember that scene..😂😂😂😂
HA HA Love it!
I can still hear Maggie Smith saying that!
May they souls rest in peace. And we thank them for the laughs they gave us. They will be missed.👼
Mary Wickes was a legend she done so many movies I remember her in Abott & Costello movie. She made me laugh as a kid. I'm 62 now. All the best 👍 South Australia
She also played a housekeeper on Father Dowling Mysteries.
This was very tastefully done. Thank you.
Micheaql jester was also Mr Noodle my fav character on sesame street
Yes
He was also in Evening Shade.
Actually Mr. Noodle’s brother Mister Noodle. I was going to say that.
Thank you so much for this because these were truly inspired actors and they are missed. I never knew what happened to Eldon I just knew that he had passed away and my beloved show Murphy Brown would never be the same without him.
Go with God Crispy 🙏🏻 also the rest of those who passed 🤧🤧
He did. God called and he went 👍😁🥳
I liked James Coburn, in Sister Act II and on The Muppet Show. He played a good villain.
I always remembered Mother Superior telling him that at the song competition. RIP Mr Crisp and the others🕊
@@jackschissler255James also voiced cartoon villains.
I remember Michael Jeter playing Mr. Noodle on Sesame Street
Yasss! I grew up watching mr. Noodle on Sesame Street. Miss Michael Jeters.
But to me he'll always be Del, the guardian of Mr. Jingles
Me too
@@colleenross8752 Yes
I thought that was him
R.I.P. I ❤️❤️the Sister Act movies !!!
Rest in peace to everybody that we love from sister act 1 and 2 you you will never be forgotten gone but never forgot
Thank goodness we can watch a great movie like this whenever we want.
1:00 Mary Wickes also played a nun/school bus driver in The Trouble With Angels...and its sequel Where Angels Go Trouble Follows...and also co-starred with Barnard Hughes in the 1975 TV series Doc
Rest peacefully to Bill Nun as well! 💛
Do not forget Mary Wickes also played next to Rosiland Russell in the trouble with angels
Great actors and actresses!! R.I.P.
I love the performance of Joyful Joyful.
It would be so cool if Ms Lauryn Hill reprised her role as Rita who has become a famous musician and must now came back to work with Sister Mary Clarence to help the current generation of students
Gotta be on time to film though lol
That would be cool.
I agree.
@@Aisha-qw9cd Right! 😂😂😂
I can't believe I was 12 when this movie came out, I just turned 40 in December. Boy time is really moving. My sister, who was 5 and I wore our VHS of this movie OUT.
Rest In Heaven to all that have passed 🙏💜
I love this movie 😭
Now you're in heaven heaven with the angels helping God work his miracles gone but never forgotten rest in peace rip
Mary Wickes also played a nun in Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows and The Trouble With Angels.
Sister act & sister act 2: back in the habit were not the only times Mary Wickes crossed paths with the church she also played Marie Gillespie, Father Dowling's housekeeper in the Father Dowling Mysteries.
I love the Father Dowling shows.
How could we ever forget Ellen Dow! She was brilliant as Robbie's old lady voice student in The Wedding Singer.
"I said, hip, hop, the hippa to the hippie
The hip hip hop, you don't stop rock"
Was she in the Fruit of the Loom commercials, or was that someone else? The old Dunkin' Donut commercials, where a little lady said, "Fresh!" The Golden Girls episode where Sophia and Rose break Lillian out of a poorly-run nursing home?
Really ?? I was talking about her with my sister no later than yesterday😥! We were also wondering if she was the grandma in My girl with Anna Chlumsky...
She also played Lily on the Gold en Girls.
She was on The Golden Girls three times, different characters.
@@Flinabin No, that was Ann Nelson. She was on the tv show Fame and she was the old Jewish lady in Airplane! who hanged herself because Ted wouldn't stop talking, lol.
Our life have come so far and when I look back I'm so thankful and this is such a beautiful tribute to all of the amazing actors and actress who have passed away
Rest in Peace
Awwww they were all great.
I have both sister act movies love them both all were great actors may they rest in peace amen
R.I.P. to All
Thanks so much for including Ellen Dow. She also taught theater at Pierce College and I was lucky enough to have been taught by her and her husband, Eugene. We kept in touch since the late 70s. Fabulous lady who always wore matching clothes with matching hats. Miss them both.
So cool!
Thanks. She was awesome.
Love your thumbnail, BTW. I love hearts!
😭😭. My heart goes out to all of them even Mr crispy.
RIP to my other favorites
Mary Wickes (also loved her in White Christmas)
Michael Jeter
And Ellen Dow 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
I have always loved both of these movies. I can’t believe some of my favorites have passed. But as time goes by we lose the ones we love.
For a minute I thought Frankie and the other kids had passed away. I'm happy that most of them had good careers. RIP💘.
It actually sounds like Devin Kamin narrating this video! lol. He did become a voice actor, I guess...
GLAD 2 HEAR SISTER ACT 3 IS ON ITS WAY,WONT BE THE SAME WITH SOMEOF THE OLD FACES
Sister act3? That would be an SJW anti God movie. Probably jab at consevatives and be a gay movie or pro abortion and shoot it in China. How on earth would Whoopie wear a nun's dress again? She would burn now once she enters a Catholic Church again. Do it again Whoopie it would be the next biggest flop in Hollywood like all female Ghostbusters. Ha ha
@@edwinamazona5474 Wow, who pissed in your cornflakes?
@@Moszan Wow, it hurts your SJW pro China brain. Truth hurts.
So basically the actors who played the characters who would be dead 30 years later anyway, have passed away. Good to know, I guess.
A lot of great talent there, though.
No because some people live to 100 now a days Betty white 99 it's the health problems mostly
The ones who died at 49 and 50 were pretty young though. If you don't agree just wait until you reach your 40's.
One was 49, another 50. Did you even watch the video?
Sister Act 2 is one of my all time favorite non sci-fi films.❤️❤️❤️👍🏾👍🏾
May they all rest in peace 🙏, great video thanks 💖
We have lost so many great actors....with long careers....i grew up watching most of them.....they gave us so much entertainment & they will be missed......RIP
Classic. Best feel good performance of all time. Rest well..you left us jewels.
I was lucky to have seen Barnard Hughes in the play Da, here in Dublin, Ireland, I met him before he went into the theatre, he thanked me for coming to see the play, lovely man.
may they all rest in peace. thank you for the entertainment
Beautiful tribute! Well done
Thank you
R.I.P. Actors
Beautifully done.
I remember seeing Mary Wick in an episode of Sanford And Son. She played somebody from an employment agency that went to their house to do housework after Fred hurt himself, and couldn't do it. Lamont had to go out for the day, and left them there. The two of them had me crying.
I remember Mary Wickes being in maybe two (?) episodes of Father Dowling Mysteries in the 90's. She was a very versatile actress.
@@ginalahue8694 Yeah, I had forgotten about The Father Dowling Mysteries from back in the day.
I love all the actors in sister act ,you all will be missed you are with god now you can sing and dance up there now
Isn't it precious when God gives one a second chance, hoping it will make a difference in their lives? The actor's in this first film were truly awesome and absolutely made the film! They will be remembered for many years to come!
So sad 😞🥺. So many good actors have moved on. Big fan of all their work ❤️👍🏾😎
Good video--you might do a separate video on the stars who got their starts in this movie--Lauryn Hill and Jennifer Love-Hewitt, to name two.:)
I'm not even old I watched both sisters act 1and2 and I enjoyed them all😢😭.R.I.P
One of the best tribute ever 💗💗💗💗💗
Thank you!
I thought it would be mentioned that Barnard Hughes also played Merlin in the TV series Mr Merlin, loved that show
My sons and I loved this and the 1st sister act movies
God bless all their hearts and souls I liked both sister act and sister act two great actors
Great tribute
I think of my favorite roles of Michael Jeter's was Herman Stiles on "Evening Shade" which also starred the late Burt Reynolds
This is a wonderful film as well as its prequel. We should be grateful for the performances in all our favorite films and plays and give thanks to the cast, crew and their families because without all of them we could not be entertained.
They was all amazing there lifes lives on. May they rest in peace x
May they all rest in peace they were all great at what they did glad you didn't say one bad thing about them
Mary Hicks also played in MA & PA Back At The Farm she played as the librarian who also was at MA & PA Christmas party back on the farm
Michael Jeter was also in the original "Point Break" with Patrick Swayze, Gary Busey, and Keanu Reeves
James Coburn was also in both "Eraser" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Caan. Robert Pastorelli was in it too. Coburn was also in "Maverick" with Mel Gibson.
Awww..🥺 no more sadness, we know..need more #foreverlove happy 🕊❤️💫♾
Interesting rip to those who passed away
To round out the series - also gone from the first movie there's Bill Nunn as Lt Eddie Souther and Joseph Mahr as Bishop O'Hara. They were instrumental to the first installment.
Wow! 😭 I love them all. RIP.
R.I.P. SISTER>>MARY WICKES!!💪👼🙏💖😘🥰🎥🎥🤧🕊🔥🤜🤛🌈💐💐
Love those films still .
good video ,
you missed one actor that won’t be in the next sister act movie ,
he was a undercover cop in the movie
if you remember this guy ,
because he is familiar to me because i’ve seen him in the Spiderman movies
as Robbie Robertson ,
he died september 24, 2016 he was 62 years old when he died
the actor’s name is Bill Nunn
his role in the sister act movie was lieutenant Eddie Souther
This was very tricky. The opening of the video made it appear that it was a handful of the kids that were the ones that have passed
To hold you in suspense and watch until the end :)
not really
Hi how are you doing? And I just subscribed.
Mary Wickes also was on Dennis the Menace tv show great actress rip to all that passed away ...
Mary Wicks also played a nun and drove the bus in The Trouble With Angels. Mary Wicks is also in White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. How did you miss this?!!?? It's Micheal GEE-TER, not JET-ER
Oh wow I didn’t know that. I saw a video where they say “gee-dah”. Unfortunately UA-cam doesn’t allow you to replace a video, you have to delete and reupload and doing that you lose everything.
One of the best movies of all time. Whoopi Goldberg, Maggie Smith & many others, were are fantastic in this show. I have watched this show so many times, I lost count. It is a movie that will make you laugh no matter how many times you watch it. :)
Michael Jeter was Mr. Noodle’s brother Mr. Noodle on Sesame Street. My favorite role of his. 😊
This is my favorite movie of all time.
God bless those beautiful souls 🙏🏼
One of the best movie ever,
Love this movie alot! ❤
why anybody would give this video a thumbs down is beyond me those people must be so heinously miserable with their lives that it's ridiculous
Thank you.
Mary Wicks was also in "White Christmas"...pretty important role as well!
I absolutely love Ellen Dow in Sister Act, 1&2 and The Wedding Singer ❤️.x
She was a gem
Loved Mary Wicks.
Sister Act ll was my favorite.
A very important role Mary Wicks. Played in was in the iconic White Christmas. That should have also been mentioned.
I had no idea they passed!
Most died old and achieved, great vet's, rip
Was a wonderful movie
Love this
I Leah karlsen liked the all the actors and Actress in sister act. My favorite actress in sister act was Whoopi Goldberg because she played sister Claire in both sister acts.
Your fan of sister act 1and2 ,
Leah karlsen
If-if i remember correctly. Michael Jester was also on the Green Mile with Tom Hanks.
He(Michael Jetter started with
Air Bud?
