Thank you Greeno, we were stationed at Winchester living at Worthy Down at the what was then the Light Infantry Depot, so spent many hours in the town, it is beautiful but more expensive than most towns!! But some good eateries. Regards to the family. 🤗🤗
Hi Greeno, I'm trawling my way through your videos, MRS Greeno!!!!?? She doesn't look old enough to have girls that age! She looks like one of the siblings, your ladies are all very lovely. I haven't been to a Christmas market in forever!!
Greeno, top video and great to see the family. That pork and Halloumi cob looked fantastic! Merry Christmas to you and the family my friend…. Bournemouth ✈️ ….. Smithy
Cheers Smithy. Little one was a bit camera shy this time, kept running off every time she thought the camera was pointing in her direction 😂 That hog roast place was one of the highlights definitely, along with that one doing the cheesy spud dish. As for AFCB, who needs Haaland, we’ve got Solanke ! Merry Christmas to you too my friend, I hope you have a good one. Fingers crossed the Saddlers do you proud Boxing Day too 😀
@@GreenoEats bless her!! Solanke I always knew was very highly thought of from a young age at Chelsea. Adrian Viveash always massively rated him. Yes thank you sir I hope so, we are to inconsistent… all the best and have a great Christmas mate
It's one of my very favourite Christmas markets, big enough to be worth visiting, but not so big and crowded thatit becomes a bunfight. Well worth a visit !
Can’t beat a Christmas market to put you in the festive mood - the one in Lincoln they have people everywhere dressed in Victorian clothing - it’s beautiful 👍 It starts in town and goes all the way to the cathedral - love the roasted chestnuts 😋
I went on Weds and really enjoyed it. I didn't actually eat anything there as I wasn't that hungry but had a coffee and a cup of gluhwein, the stall with the massive cauldron which was great. I also bought baclava which I assumed was filled with gold judging by the price of one slice and a jar of cherry and amaretto jam. With the handmade glass bauble and wooden musical globe and fragrant dried fruit decorations the cost soon adds up! I think the Exeter Cathedral Xmas market has more stalls but they are really packed in and it can be difficult to move around. I much preferred Winchester as there was much more room. Hope you all have a good Christmas and New Year and that Covid has cleared off!
Yeah, I like the fact that Winchester’s market has space to move around a little more easily than others. Sounds like you had a nice day and came home with some great items, even if the wallet took a bit of a pummelling! Covid has now struck Mrs Greeno who has taken to her bed for the last 2 days. I am probably around 70%, but flagging as all the running around sorting out Xmas now falls to me! Unfortunately we have had to cancel the old man coming round tomorrow, but he lives locally, so we will do something when we have cleared the lurgy. I hope you have a fab day, Merry Christmas 🎄!
Hi Greeno,a lovely Christmas video, it looks beautiful in Winchester, especially the Christmas market, there's one in Staines, but no where near as Christmassy as that, we wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas day, cheers Greeno.🎄🍻🥳👍💯💥🐖
It really was beautiful. Winchester is about an hour from me. Which means easily accessible but not so close you go all the time and get too used to it! Merry Christmas to you and yours, I hope you thoroughly enjoy the festive period!
This christmas market looks really unique, not too crowded and the food is nice and special, a little pricy I would say, but it worth it, I guess. Greeno, your family is absolutely sweet, the teenager and the mrs. could be sisters 😊😊 those asia noodles I really love, buy them once a week 😜
It really is a nice Christmas market in a pretty venue, and something for everyone food wise. Going on a weekday does make a difference in terms of how crowded it is, I have been there on a weekend before and it was much busier. Thanks for the kind words about the family, I am pretty lucky with them 😀
Beautiful! That was truly a Christmas Market to be proud of. All the atmosphere and food was spot on. I need to broaden my horizons and get out of both London and Dublin, because the Christmas Markets in both my "home" cities are rubbish. The best Christmas Market I have ever been to was in Göttingen Germany and never mind closing at 6:00pm, I remember being there at after 11:00pm. Speaking of all things German, please do not waste your time with GDK in the UK, it is truly disgusting.
I like Christmas markets that are a little smaller and more manageable - although having said that the best I have been to was in Budapest. It was properly cold though, -15 on the evening I attended. Plenty of mulled wine was needed, just for warmth you understand :-)
Yeah Winchester is a good one, not so big that it’s unmanageable, not so small it’s hardly worth going. Nice, picturesque venue and plenty of food options. It’s a winner in my book!
This was filmed on Monday, COVID hit Tuesday 😂 I am on the mend now, Mrs Greeno now been in bed for a couple of days. Christmas is going to be a little muted I fear!!
Littlest Greeno was a bit camera shy in this one, but everyone else chipped in. Merry Christmas to you and yours, hope you have a great festive period!!
How lovely to see Mrs Greeno, and Ms. Greeno Jnr. (sorry, no offence intended , not sure how best to describe your daughter). Winchester market looks very good...Merry Christmas!
Someone in an earlier message referred to her as "The Greenager" which I think I shall call her from now on. Not just in videos, but all the time ha ha. Merry Christmas to you and yours 😀
Yeah, this was Monday, so a quieter day than the weekend, but enough people to make a nice atmosphere. I think all the vendors were making a nice living there.
Love how you're referring to your kids :) Any advice on how to be brave and record around people who watch you? I'd so love to create content, but way too shy around people
The best advice is to just do it. Try to be considerate about how and where you film, and most people will either be non plussed or just ignore it. I was very self conscious to start with, and still can be sometimes. But I think if it as being at a swimming pool. We are all worried about how we will look, and if people will judge us, but how many people can you actually remember looking bad at a swimming pool??
Mrs Greeno says we should buy ourselves a pancake stall. 20p of ingredients per pancake we reckon, and bang them out at £4 a pop. This time next year we’d be millionaires Rodney!
How does this compare to any Christmas Market you have visited this year?
Certainly hit hard in the cost of living crisis that’s for sure! Nothing too cheap available certainly, but lots of tasty treats!
Got 2 spoil yourself and loved ones once in a while init,😉😊
Looks a great place 😮,
Did see the cans of pop at £2.50,
@@davidjones6470 that’s true! When are they gonna treat me though 😂😂😂
Nice video this one Greeno! Winchester is one of the nicest places I've ever been, lovely town.
Yeah I love Winchester, great town centre, plenty of history, one of my favourite places to visit! Merry Christmas 🎄
Ah the lesser spotted Greenager, quality content again mate. Wishing you and the Greeno clan a merry christmas and all the best for 2024.
Yep, managed to drag her out of her pit briefly!! Thanks for the kind words and well wishes. All the best to you and yours for the festive season!!
I love Winchester. Such a beautiful city.

An add on Greeno, whenever it snowed we would head up to St Catherine's Hill just off the M27 for tobboganing! 👍👍

Nice Thumbnail Greeno sir,
Oo, a family outing then,
Watching now,
Rare to find all 4 of us on a day out together that’s for sure… teenager rarely wants to be seen with the uncool parents 😂
😊, might be different next year looked like she enjoyed it,
Maybe so 😀

5:53 £10 for that, yep I pay that looks better than Domino's
Yeah, they were hand making each pizza too, was a great pizza

Don't go to Birmingham christmas market. It's beyond crap
Is that so? I heard it was supposed to be one of the biggest and best?
@GreenoEats no variety at all food wise, and very few different market stalls. We were very disappointed
Looks like it's not a good place to be on a diet 😂
Not a lot of salads in the Christmas Market !
A bit demeaning to call your lovely daughter “littlen” now she is a teen.
At time of filming she was 10.....

A fiver for chips with cheese 😮😅 that pancake as well £4 🫣😂 it did look nice though. Especially the pizza!
