Which he shouldn't be. If not for this fixed season because the PL desperately didn't want the same champion 4 times in a row so gave Chelsea everything all season including both head-to-heads vs their closest title challenger which VAR would've had them lose both instead of win, 1 footed Cashley goes 10 straight years without a PL title 2004/05 to 2013/14.
Drogba scored 29 goals in 32 league games in this season and he missed several weeks cause of AFCON. If he played every game he could have broken the premier league goal record, he should have won the PFA award that season
@@FootkerSnooballChelsea were bleeding into accepting 3rd place in the last few years of Roman. The current regime just encapsulate the current reality
You say that but VAR would've disallowed that goal...Chelsea would've had their usual goal tallies that season in fact if VAR was in play and they would've been trophyless.
God I miss this Chelsea. And I remember JT telling Drog that Lamps was penalty taker. That’s what a captain does. Gallagher should have been so firm with Sterling last week.
Fixed season, PL wanted to avoid same champion 4 years in a row as that looks boring so gave Chelsea decisions all season including fixing 2 wins that VAR would've had them lose vs their closest challenger and then even this last game their buddy MartinAtkinson conveniently officiates it because it's a must win game so he helped them as much as possible. Like the 5 Cup semi-finals he was allowed to referee for Chelsea and loads of their other must win games. I'm not saying Chelsea may not have nicked a win in this particular game anyway at home to Wigan (they lost to Wigan away though) without numerical advantage soft pens, fouls in build-up to their goals etc..., but he helped them get an emphatic win to help cover up the controversial of what Chelsea needed to do home&away vs ManUtd to go above them (and StevenGerrard's match fixing penultimate game let's not forget, first year ManUtd could go above Liverpool on overall title's Liverpool has nothing else to play for hence his deliberate backpass to Drogba at 0-0 when Chelsea had created nothing). Clear who the best team still was hence what happened the following season.
@Sir-Blaze Only 3GD in it with only 3 games to go. Chelsea had same number of wins as ManUtd (27) despite cheating them home&away (ManUtd would've already been champions before the last 3 games if there was VAR in just the head-to-heads alone) and Chelsea had less wins than ManUtd by 2 or more goals before the penultimate game Liverpool threw which finished 0-2 but Chelsea still finished with the same number of wins by only 1 goal (but Chelsea's narrow wins were way more dodgy/almost not wins). ManUtd had more away wins fullstop but they also had more away wins by 2 or more, likewise more away wins by 3 or more, likewise more away wins by 4 or more and both teams had just one 0-5 win but ManUtd's was vs 16th Wigan with quality goals (a fixture Chelsea lost) and Chelsea's was only vs rock bottom Portsmouth and DavidJames gifted Chelsea a goal with an amateur howler giving Drogba a 1 yard tap-in. So I wasn't fooled by the fake GD Chelsea were given with 2 emphatic wins in their last 3 games with several controversial goals/incidents and numerical advantages they'd usually struggle to beat these teams but PL knew how corrupt Chelsea were to climb above ManUtd on points they couldn't win by anywhere near enough points to avoid corruption allegations or worse so they thought these big wins would disguise the controversy and make them look worthy winners. It only fooled fools.
@Sir-Blaze Scoring a bunch of meaningless goals at home vs weak opposition when everything is going your way doesn't make you the best team. They may have been the 2nd best but ManUtd were still the best team because if they got HALF the help Chelsea got that season they break a PL points winning margin record. Chelsea still lost it but for StevenGerrard's match fixing which Liverpool home crowd applauded.

If Chelsea win the title they can't win it by enough points to avoid corruption allegations or worse so the PL thought let's give them some emphatic wins and fake GD to make them look worthy winners. Kalou could've been sent off for his 2 footed lunge on Stoke's GK to make it 2-0 Stoke play the rest of the game without their first GK instead of it only being 1-0 to Chelsea and them down to 10 men. This game and the Wigan game they like throughout the season got quite a few pens. Liverpool 0-2 Chelsea (it's 0-0 Chelsea have created nothing for the first 32 minutes of a game they have to win to win the title and Liverpool have to lose to prevent ManUtd from overtaking Liverpool on overall league title's 2010 was the first year this was possible and Liverpool have nothing to play for they had won at all costs when ManUtd came to Anfield in Oct2009 another game with VAR ManUtd win but Liverpool fought for the win, StevenGerrard deliberately backpassed to Drogba for the deadlock to be broken some people in the Liverpool crowd stood up and applauded this it was obvious Liverpool didn't want anything from the game before kickoff but the manner of that first goal couldn't have made it any more blatantly fixed. ManUtd won their final 3 games and added a further 7GD to their tally. How on earth have Chelsea gained 10GD on them in those last 3 games?? Chelsea had no more wins fullstop than ManUtd that season but they actually had LESS wins than ManUtd by 2 or more goals before the penultimate game Liverpool threw vs Chelsea so it finished both Chelsea & ManUtd on same number of wins by 2 or more goals but ManUtd still had more away wins fullstop (harder to win away) but also ManUtd had more away wins by 2 or more and likewise ManUtd had more away wins by 3 or more, likewise ManUtd had more away wins by 4 or more and both only had 1 0-5 win each but ManUtd's was against 16th Wigan, Chelsea's was against rock bottom Portsmouth and also look at DavidJames's amateur howler in that game giving Drogba a tap-in where as ManUtd's away 0-5 were quality goals.
