A joint friendship gathering took place at the Taesongsan Pleasure Ground on Friday to mark the 62nd International Children's Day.
Present there were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea; Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly; Han Kwang Bok, vice-premier of the Cabinet; Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission; Ryang Man Gil, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee; officials concerned and children and women in Pyongyang.
Invited to the gathering were foreign diplomats and members of foreign embassies and missions of international organizations here, foreign guests including children and women, overseas Koreans staying in the homeland and Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification.
The gathering began with the juvenile congratulatory stage "Smile Broader".
Kindergarten children sang and danced to the tune of "Holiday of our flower buds".
Then the stage of talents "Skills of children" followed.
Children impressively showed their talents and happiness in colorful pieces including talent of skipping rope "Jumping over festoon", riding unicycle, hand feats and skills of folk games.
Foreign children sang in chorus songs "We Are Grateful to Marshal Kim Il Sung" and "We Are Grateful to Dear Leader" to win acclaims by the audience.
After the rhythmic exercise of kindergarten children, Korean and foreign children played sports and amusement games.
They shared pleasures of the holiday through picture puzzle, running with mother with ball in one arm, apple-picking, basketball game, tug of war, etc.
After the games the participants danced to the tune of "Our mind is one" and presented maypole and train plays, adding to the atmosphere.
Meanwhile, a similar joint meeting for friendship took place at Chongam Kindergarten in Chongam District, Chongjin City of North Hamgyong Province, on the same day.
Present there were members of the Chinese and Russian consulates general in Chongjin.

There are many poor kids in USA and Canada. And in England and many other ugly aspects.
Kim Il Song is a god to these people. When you're raised from babyhood to believe that, it's understandable, I guess. But who are these non-Koreans? Where are they from?

Yo've been raised to believe in the pope or some other priest probably. anyway many children in the west did. the fact that NK does not have any religion is a big , big plus and a big big advantage. because they the Pope and some other religious figures do not believe that the only requirement from our creators was and is to always speak the truth.

no it is not fake . There are two reasons: first reason is a language to be beneficial to the people must be very melodious. whoever knows some latin also knows that it is a very melodious language. So is spanish so is french. People feel good when they listen to good music isn't that so?????So the language must be melodious to be pleasant and polite. Another reason is they try to be convincing because they are convinced that they speak the truth.
