This may be the greatest single video on "how to climb" in Marvel Snap. Because of how prevalent bots are, I imagine learning how to identify and get 8 cubes from bots probably nets more cubes than a decklist or a strategy video ever would. Which I suppose shows Snap matchmaking needs to improve... in any case, huge thank you for putting this together lads.
I climbed to Infinite with a Pool 1 ongoing deck (only had Iceman from P2). The bot doesn't "compute" Klaw or Spectrum effects on Turn 6 and I happened to already have them in my deck, that's how I finally beat them after I watched this video (around 90% bots from rank 73 to 100). Great video guys!
Literally as I was finishing this video, I went into a game. District X happened, and Mindscape. I had a hobgoblin because of it, and put it down and the bot SLAMMED the lane full. Went and checked the list, and yup. It was on there. This video very insightful, good job!
Thank you for this list, and the insight surrounding bots. Literally just had a match with a bot, totally ignoring the actual locations (playing a Wong on location where ongoing effects are disabled).
I've just seen that your Alfred. 🤣😂🤣 I'm a Brit. Played you a few times. Nice one lads. I'm..... the devil you say. With a daredevil avatar. Funny as 😂😂😂
Yes lads! I love the whole format, the way you explain whilst demonstrating, also giving other alternatives is great!! For sure this will help me and looking forward for the next one :) I do wonder what your thought process is on location reveals. Do you change your original game plan? Do you play accordingly to the locations or do you not let it effect the way you play and continue as normal? Maybe another video will help me 😃
Thanks so much! Great video, really enjoyed it. Quick questions about the list, what does LSTM and Marvel stand for? Long short-term memory as seen in deep learning? Does Marvel mean Bot? Also, why is there a split between Human and Real Player?
That's pretty bonkers that bots can't handle the simple notion of not playing into Murderworld before turn 3 but can perfectly handle Danger Room to a near omnipotent degree. It goes to show how highly specialized they are at focusing on the current turn only. Since they can predict RNG but not power boosts, how do they react to Wolverine getting destroyed? Do they know where Wolverine will end up but not that it will gain 2 power?
Forgive my ignorance but what do the headings mean on the list of bot names mean? when it says real player is that bot or not? what does LSTM/Marvel/Real player mean?
They're different types of AI that the bots use to play. From our understanding the LSTM ones are the ones that "cheat" most and have permanent daredevil/Kang effect, and the "real player" ones are based on actual plays made by people so they're more likely to snap early etc.. We're not overly sure on the exact differences behind how they work though, we tend to treat them all the same
The hypocrisy on twitter is saying that it got infinite facing "very few bots". When good players trade 1 or 2 cubes on average against humans and exploit 8 cubes against Bots. I believe that in addition to raising the amount of ranking gained to 5 every 10, 20, 30... They increased the number of Bots (or the player base decreased) to easily reach the infinite ranking. In my opinion, Shuri Deck is better then Thanos to climb because is good against humans and to farming 8 cubes against bots.
yeah still "useless" because you dont know you will get a bot till youre IN THE MATCH. i mean the video is great and nice information + finally i dont feel like a tinfoil dude because i had the feeling there are bots with "hacks" or knowledge where i put cards and retreat to make you have less cubes and so on but like i said you can tell its a bot when you have already chosen your deck. also you should be able to craft cards you dont have in this piec eof sh1t game. i dont want the 52316th variant of korg if im still missing pool 3 cards ffs

The bots are spiteful! Honestly we felt this in our soul 🤖 glad you enjoyed the video!

we will see what we can do bro!
You mentioned that you think you pretty much know all the bot decks, would be a cool video if you built them all and showed them. Cool vid, thanks!
this could deffo be on the cards man we could do this for jokes with a bit of prep!
Excuse me good sir, what LSTM stans for on the spreadsheet? thank you very much
this is a good video thank you so much. THe second game is exactly what I am always confused about.
glad we could clear some stuff up and may the 8 cube beamers forever be in your favour
@@Code_Deco hit galactic yesterday using the waiting for the last second tech so they won't retreat. u guys are the best
That's what it's about let's goooo 🎉

LSTM is a type of a bot and we dont know much more then that, some bots are based from human players so act differently to standard bots,

They know where it goes but we doubt they know about the power boost as at lot of the bots seem to be not up to date, glad you digged the video
Recently my deathwave deck has been cancelled perfectly and it is extremely frustrating. Is there a variation of deathwave that is better for bots?
Our version of DeathWave seems to stand up quite well, check out the latest f2p to infinite vid on our channel ua-cam.com/video/yLi6SeFwRdU/v-deo.html
Fantstic information gentleman

Great vid boiiiis 💪✨

Good to hear that you're doing well with the climb!
Great job thanks for sharing
no problem
Legends. Thanks, y'all!

No way they have me on their list as a real player
thats wild maybe you are what the bot is based from :O
