It's how the code is designed. If you look at how the target moves when they get Lee Sin ulted, it's their walking animation. The displacement from Lee Sin ult is a forced move command, so technically the target faces the direction they're being kicked in. You can even check the super old Lee Sin champion spotlight and you'll see that Kat "walks" in the direction she's kicked in.

That renekton also built lord dominik's onto a team where fiora's the only one building armor. He would've won that in 5 seconds if he build mortal reminder with those items.
I think the reason that Parry didn't stun was because Lissandra's ult was essentially just absorbed (something like a Veigar ulting and Fizz using E), so the black ice that's part of her ult didn't even appear. I don't think it's supposed to work like that because I'm pretty sure it still appears if it's spellshielded though
