Understandably, Marty was angry with God and gave up on the church when this happened. But his friends, the church community, and God didn’t give up on him.
This is a story for those of us who have been hurt by the church and why we shouldn’t give up. Even when it hurts.

This is why he is low key mt fave rapper. Something about his simple honest raps that make him very likable and he doesn't care what people think. You can't tell in his music

I felt the same way you mentioned at 3:10. I just felt pushed/forced/angry when I knew how much God loved me. I just didn't like the point my life had gone into with this misery when thinking about God and I knew He didn't want me to live that way so I just made a change since I didn't want to see myself that way, all miserable thinking that God was mad at me. When I came back all I felt was His love and mercy. Just feels right. Now I have to fight to remain with Him since I know that we just create some fairy tale lifestyles instead of living how God wants for us, His love fulfilling us.
