- After being shown in concept form at EICMA 2021 as the SYM Husky ADV and in finished form at EICMA 2022 as the SYM ADX 125 it's safe to say I have been waiting for 18 months to get to ride this thing so I just couldn't leave you guys out of the first ride and get my first impression of it.

For me, ADX is the best 125 cc SYM :)
Huge space for driver, abs,tcs,start stop, lcd disolay and 15l fuel tank ! AWESOME !!!

Great review Alex, looking forward to seeing how your long trip goes and also how poor road quality,pot holes affect the comfort as most other scooters struggle with this compared with a motorbike 😀

In Asia there's the 150cc version, it's clear it was made for that engine.
p.s. I was thinking about the small vs big bikes for quite some time and what I think is the reason many people do it with the small machines. Why? I think the answer is that the big bikes are too serious, expensive and intimidating. They can be comfortable for long road trips but on little bike, you don't care .. Just pick the bike and go, like it is a bit more over bicycle. The coasts of the big bikes are intimidating too, the bike can be nicked or vandalized over night in front of a motel or camp side.. You conscious is telling you that you have to ride huge distances to justified the price of the big bike. The small one, even if it is brand new is not like that. You can lock it in the garage for a year if you don't want to ride and it is fine, because can be 10-15 times less expensive then gold wing or GS or something in that aria. The casual not intimidating, easy going nature and the low coast of small bikes is what make me and other people like you to gravitate to them and not the big ones. There are more and more people that realize that, even without thinking it and look how many people are riding adventures now on the new Royal Enfields, scooters and mopeds.. My personal choice is a 250 maxi scooter that consumes 3,2 L per 100km, have the weather protection of a gold wing and you don't need to clean chains. The miles just add up, I am riding even more then the old times that I had Transalps, Teneres and other bikes like that. Sorry for the long post, I was thinking on this for a
Well said. One of my favorite rides, was on a Yamaha Zumba 50cc. I rode 230 miles/370 km on it in one day. I’ve owned or ridden most type of motorcycles. Now that I’m older, I find the smaller scooters a lot more convenient. The only issues with owning a small scooter, is if you’re really tall. ✌️

great review! the question about wind protection is how much does the glass protect from the wind and what about the wind protection of the knees?
The front fearing protects your legs from the wind and it does a good job.

I prefer the ADX to be honest.
Another awesome review. Just imagine the adx as a 350 water cooled :P By the way the hd 300 is the baummm it rocks!

Great that you are reviewing this. I think there is only one downside to this compared to other smaller maxi-ish scooters. The small wheel size. Perfectly justified for city and small commutes, not ideal on the longer runs. But maybe you ll prove us wrong.

Sare, dar după ce sare dacă bagi cu grija mai bagi 2L, el sare cam pe la 13 litri

Modele foarte frumoase si tentante. Voiam sa te intreb de ce Sym produce scutere ce pot fi alimentate numai cu benzina E5(5%bioetanol) in conditiile in care noi gasim la pompa numai combustibil top E10(10% bioetanol). M-am uitat si pe cartile tehnice si tot benzina E5 este indicata... Ai idee daca se va alinia producatorul la reglementarile interne? Din cate citesc alimentarea cu alt combustibil decat cel indicat de catre producator poate duce la probleme asociate sistemului de alimentare. Multumesc

Al meu ST200 merge pe E10 de 37500km de cand l-am cumpărat fara nici o problema. Nu stiu de ce nu certifica pentru E10 dar motoarele sunt perfect capabile sa ruleze pe E10 fara nici cea mai mica problema.
@@RideWithAlex Super! Ma intreb intr-o situatie de defect pe sistemul de alimentare pe perioada garantiei cum decurg lucrurile. E pacat totusi... produsele sunt bune.... Arata bine... concurenta s-a aliniat. Numai bine!
@@alexandrumirceasandulescu2840 considerând ca alt combustibil nu se poate achiziționa in Romania, nu afectează în nici un mod garanția.
Watching this and thinking that Honda made a mistake by not importing their little adv 150 to Europe. Very nice scooter, kudos.
For the European market they should have made an ADV125 but the didn't and they will probably lose out.
Salut! Cred ca pentru drumuri lungi este nevoie de un parbriz putin mai mare. Se poate upgrada direct la Sym (fara aliexpres)? Asfalt uscat!
Vor fi disponibile variante de parbriz direct de la dealer in pe masura ce apar, dar vedem sambata cand va veni video-ul cu excursia cu el cad te mult ii trebuie parbriz.

Excellent scooter Adx ..3595 euro the price in Greece..The 160cc version probably will come next year i believe 16hp for it is necessary to make a safer roadtrip..

Salut, ce ai alege dintre acest sym adx 125 și aprilia sr gt 125? Având in vedere ca sym-ul este cu 300 euro mai scump unde locuiesc eu.
Considerand ca mie imi plac turele lungi doar pt rezervorul cu 6L mai mare as merge pe ADX. Plus compara-le in persoana pe ambele, la calitatea materialelor folosite. Pt SYM ADX este un varf de gama pentru aprilia SR GT este ca sa fie. Se simte cand stai pe ele ca unu vrea sa impresioneze prin calitatea materialelor iar altul e asa ca sa fie ;)
In sfarsit l-ati adus:) Abia astept sa vad parerile tale din excursia la Rasnov. Crezi ca este 125-ul de la Sym cu cel mai mare spatiu la genunchi/picioare? Am 183 cm si m-ar interesa acest detaliu. Merci!
In materie de spațiu la genunchi da este, dar este din clasa mica pentru ca o data cu acesta a sosit și Cruisym de 125 in showroom tot asa prima unitate de test 😁. Daca esti interesat de 125 acum e momentul sa vii prin showroom.

Am 185cm.La acest scuter ca si la pcx125 sau Jet14,ai posibilitatea sa schimbi pozitia ghidonului cativa cm catre fata,o sa ai loc si il faci mai comod.O modificare simpla care te va ajuta foarte mult.Din pacate daca mergi in showroom nu ai sa primesti astfel de sfaturi,eu am fost si am plecat dezamagit,Aveam chiar si banii la mine,dar in afara de o amabilitate aparenta,baietii de acolo pareau preocupati de alte lucruri.Asa am ajuns sa ma uit la pcx.....
@@donmateo2009 Merci de info, e bine de stiut. Si eu am fost la ei tocmai pentru a vedea adx-ul, din pacate era dat la test cuiva. Eu am reusit sa vorbesc cu Alex, e un tip de nota 10, mi-a raspuns la toate intrebarile. Poate cand ai fost tu chiar erau prinsi cu treaba. Mie mi s-au parut foarte ok oamenii de acolo.
ADX 125 just arrived here too and it's exactly 25% more money than JetX 125, how do you feel about that does it feel 25% nicer? Also IDK about "touring with 125", I'm a big guy so a 12hp would probably only get me like 90km/h which would be troublesome on a highway!
edit: Sym website says that the fuel capacity is 7.5L, weird!
I weigh 110kg and I like touring on 125. About the fuel capacity you can see me putting 13 liters of fuel in it, the tank is at least 15L big.
@@RideWithAlex yeah I'm just a bit confused about it, either the website is wrong or Turkey is getting some sort of a Frankenstein version of the ADX 125

This is the one I have been waiting for. Honda won't bring us the ADV to the UK. Our roads abysmal and though I want a Vespa I know in the end it will have to be something with big wheels.

@@JustforFun-cb7bo the 200 has a bit more power, but the sym is better innevery other way, feels more premium, more features etc.
The SYM NHT 200 is a far better bike. It has gears and also a 200cc engine.

Dude, this was just a first ride, i have a full review plus a 500km 2 day motocamping trip on it 😂😂😂😂. Plus top speed is like any 12bhp scooter, about 100-110, it's simple phisics.
