These horses are cared for and looked after better than you realize. We need to stand strong as a community to keep the Horse and Carriage industry alive , for the sake of the both the horses and the families that love them.
There used to be lots more horse and carriages in sa not all that long ago In my lifetime another bunch of genius council members got rid of most I believe in retaliation for not getting the trolleys they wanted hey what happened too those stupid scooters
The amount of thought that goes into the life of a horse once “unusable” is about the same amount of thought gone into: “hmm, what other job could I do that involves me and my horse but is good for both of us not just meeeeee?”
Why would the horses have to be euthanized? Drama!! Brainstorm something better for the horses. Where are your pastures? 200 yrs ago they probably weren't walking on concrete and asphalt amongst vehicle traffic..... pain compliance needs to go too.... yes including bits. Think about the horses folks. We are here to take care of NOT take advantage of the critters we have left. Regardless.... horses will still need care takers. Find a country location where horses belong.
Theyre not gonna get euthed, for crying out loud, you silly dramatist - they'll probably go to a rescue and get adopted out. People need to quit over acting for effect.
All the horses are exceptionly Cared for by the owner , drivers and all of stable employees. The horses are loved, bathed, fed and have field time on a regular basis. Removing the horse and carriage will only become a loss for San Antonio, Tx. Please reconsider your proposal.
@@tinsote7176 i agree with you, i went on one of these carriage rides and it was the best day ever, peaceful, calm, and not too fast, why do they wanna take away our history like this, it happened with a lot of the steam locomotives, don’t let it happen with the horses and carriage, do people not realize we needed horses , sorry i’m ranting but this is so ridiculous, i hate this, uthinising these carriage horses is just crazy, they still have jobs to do, the only time a horse should be put down is when it’s very sick or hurt, yah sure the media blows things out preportion sometimes but don’t get rid of it all together, might as well scrap the carriages while they’re at it
