A factory reset will remove all user data on your Garmin Vivoactive 4. How to turn your Garmin Vivoactive 4 off or restart it:
1. Hold the top button down on your Garmin Vivoactive 4 for around 15 seconds. The control menu will appear. Keep holding down the power button until it turns completely black.
2. Hold the top button to turn it back on.
How to perform a FACTORY RESET of your Garmin Vivoactive 4:
1. Hold the back button (around 4 o'clock) until the Menu opens.
2. Once the Menu opens, scroll down and select the Gear to open the settings.
3. Scroll down and select System.
4. Select Reset.
5. Select Delete Data and Reset Settings. This will clear all data from the watch. Select the checkmark at the bottom of the screen to perform a factory reest (hard reset). You will need to set up your smart watch again.

I had to go to System Settings to delete, but your video got me headed in the right direction.
After this reset make sure to remove/forget the watch from your bluetooth settings on your phone otherwise it will stay stuck on the final image you saw in this video and the new 6 digit pairing code will not be shown.

i removed the device from garmen connect, not from bluetooth settings as you commented. it's no longer showing on bluetooth, but i'm stuck just like you said. any advice?

Hello. What if the touch doesn't work?
After a full reset, will all widgets, apps, watch faces, and settings for all the above return, after a sync with Garmin Connect or Garmin Express?
So to full reset to send back to the store is there a way to turn the watch off to put back in packaging?

Do I need to factory reset my vivoactive 4 watch if I switched from a Samsung to Iphone ? My garmin connection is not working on my Iphone. I have downloaded the Garmin connect app. Message on app is that the watch cannot be found.
