I kinda did a similar thing. Got some cheap 1/14 scale chassis. Put a servo but used same motor for drive. But used a wpl body. And made a mini truck. Slammed the hell out of it. Just drive slow with it. My next project is to put some tunes in it.
Bro, liked and subscribed! The mad scientist stuff just like me. Ok, you don't have a lot of power in your power pack. Was this just a test pack? I just built a stupid 19.2 volt pack that I'm gonna put in something. It's not going to like it but it's gonna get it, lol
I tried this method with same size/kv brushless motor but plastic motor pinion does not hold good after few mins.I think due to heat from motor shaft . I think using metal pinion with screw to tighten up will be better. Am trying to figure out which size metal pinion.
@@Soso34794 the original controller will not work because you aren’t going to be using any of the stock electronics. You need to buy an aftermarket receiver and controller to be able to run the car.

Nice! That would be awesome. Cool idea with the mini truck.
Very interesting looking forward to seeing it finished
Thanks. I can’t wait to finish it.
going to be a fun little build! thanks for the share! stay awesome!
I’m enjoying it…so far. Thanks for checking out the vid.
Very cool to see mods/builds!
The builds are a fun part of the hobby too.
Great job! I'm new to this and trying to modify a Rastar F1 series 1;18 scale this helps with some things
@@SushiKyle-fp4wj glad it helps and good luck with your build.
Great job!
Thank you!
Where is the second part video for servo upgrade? Im hoping to copy your EXACT steps😊.
It’s in my Rastar Lambo playlist.
This is great!
Hello and happy new year
What battery pack do you suggest for this uograde ??

Got the same exact combo
Sweet! 👍🏻
It still works on the same voltage as stock motor?

The LaTrax rally 10T pinion is great! I have 3 for my Rastar brushless. Traxxas 7645.
Do i need to use the controller? Great video
I don’t know how you will be able to drive it if you don’t use a controller.
I didnt mean that i meant do i need to buy the controller on the vid or can i use the original

@@ReadytoRunRC oh okay
does the f1-75 1:12 have the same gearbox as this
Probably not because this is a 1/14 scale not a 1/12
Is it working with the factory controller?
No
What motor is that sir? Surpass hobby?
GoolRC. Link is in the description.
Is that like a 230 motor
I think it is a 260.
