- We got the FIRST WIN of the season... but honestly I feel a little dirty about this one. I'm not 100% sure if the timing system was accurate in the right lane, but I can't really speak to topic since I never made a lap over there. All I know is that racers were concerned about the right lane, the track worked on it (alot), and I decided to adjust my strategy and hang out in the left lane. Setting up high-teen up front and honest on the big end isn't typically a winning strategy, but it sometimes you need to adjust to the hand you're dealt...

Congratulations Tom, I raced in Alabama Saturday and the track timing system was set on .400 tree instead of.500 They got that fixed but the roll out was way off. I had to take .080 out of the box to get a reaction time. I made it to 6 cars and the lights would not drop. They got that fixed and I lost. Thanks for a great show.
Well it sucks there was issues, but I’m kind of glad to hear it’s not just here! Haha. I kind of felt dirty with this win just because it seemed a little unfair based on what others were telling me about the other lane 😬😬

Hey GallStar! I wanted to start my own bracket racing channel, do you have any tips on how to record with an in car camera? Im running a 78 Fairmont and I know you record on a dragster, but could you shoot some recommendations my way?
Hey Aaron! I use gopros for most of my on car footage. Get a GoPro hero black model (7 or higher). That way you will all the frame rates and FOV options you will probably want. If you’re looking for 360 footage take a look at the insta360 one R. 👍👍

Haha, it’s just my power cut off switch. One tome I had it shake off on me and ever since it’s just been a habit of mine to constantly make sure it’s all the way on. I can’t shake that habit I dont know why LOL.
Crazy night i have had several crazy time tickets the one that stands out in my mind was at piedmont dragway i raced anthony bartozzi.i know i got the stripe he gets the win light.mathamaticly i win the race.its like 5th rd he says yeah man i havnt a clue how my light came on but no i will not rerun the race .bob harris ,who was super cool about it.the rule at the time was that both7 drivers must agree to rerun the race but bartozzi saiid no. Dont really blame him it was for 5 000 to win that day. But weird stuff happens sometimes.how come im allways on the loosing side of it!!
