The mellos restored my faith in black and blues
Sometimes people don’t know what they’re experiencing.. but to hear them in person is an honor.. since 91 I been mesmerized when we blew at the human juke.. what we got back was pure power.. coke cola what they played back.. we where stunned.. great musicianship.. still rocking with you.. set it off bish..

Yes. I will say from experience that this UA-cam doesn’t do them justice. You think this sounds good here. In person it’s hell on wheels. I got to experience it in 95 with a cousin who played tuba there. I was like damn and I’m a band geek myself.

I love to hear Southerns trumpets in person man... they give me real chills while the whole section is in complete demand like from 04 till 2012 you can clearly see individually they have real skills and not just playing whats on paper. My GOD they have had some real demons on that line, but they btones before euphones where just as dominant as in presence. Mellows are a whole nother subject... they literally play outta this stratosphere. They second line bands be killing as a whole but individually they can really perform.
