To all the people who complain about the fact that he's caucasian. Go to Tokyo, Seoul, Guangzhao, Shanghai, etc.. and take a look at how many non Asian restaurants are being run by Asian people. Maybe you all need to travel, maybe you need to read this if you can't. Let someone be passionate about what they're doing, stop hating, live your own life. Much love.
Nail on the head, dude! In South Africa we have the largest Indian population outside of India and you'll hear people say that a lot of it is not proper Indian food. I use African bird's eye chillis in Thai curries, I use South African chutney in tomato sauce for pasta dishes. The world is a small place and if it tastes good, I don't care if it's authentic or not.

No it doesn't. It's literally an extra topping. Bibimbap literally translates to "mixed rice". Korea historically wasn't a wealthy nation, so people worked with what they had. If we're going to go with tradition, then the only topping option would be "work with what you have".
That chef’s food looks better than all of the food here in Thailand haha. Seriously though, you’d be surprised how nasty and dirty most of the restaurants are here.
Some people are saying, “I don’t see one Asian.” Who cares? Food looks tasty, and is made with passion. I’d like to see those people make a plate of food as pretty as his.
Because if it's a white person making a dish from another culture it's "bad". This is not applied to every ones mindset but those who strongly point out the cook isn't of the culture truly are being racist in their dislike and distrust. I don't throw the word out but discrimination of "White people cooking non white people food" on youtube has just been racist in any video you see people complaining about them not being X race.
Bobo Le kinda like how the only jamaican food restaurant by us has no jamaicans except my mom and i it seems. All authentic but just no other jamaicans here it seems
Bobo Le Chico has only 4.4% of Asians in their demographics, in the video the guy said there wasn’t much food diversity which is why he took this up. I think it’s cool that they’re introducing fusion foods into a relatively homogeneous city.
"I went to Thailand, found myself, discovered Thai food, and wanna bring back the flavors to share with people in the States!" - Yet another white guy #eatpraylove XD
If you have the means, the desire, and obvious talent to do something a little unusual; Why does it matter if he's a white guy? Or anyone of any color for that matter?
I didn’t say there was anything wrong with it, just pointing out something I’ve been noticing. You’re the one assuming I think there’s something wrong with it 😂
Social Accounts because it’s definitely a trend I’ve been noticing. White Americans going to a foreign country, “discovering” the cuisine, and “bringing it back” for other Americans to enjoy. I’m just saying what I see, why you feel the need to make so much noise about it lol. Are you personally offended?
@@accordiongordon So much noise? I asked a question, and am currently responding to you on a UA-cam comment section. That's not exactly a movement. If something like food, art, clothing, or music makes you happy- why does it matter where you are from or what color you are when you found it? If you encounter something awesome, wouldn't you want to share it with others?
“Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him." Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." Nicodemus said to him, "How can these things be?" Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things? Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God." After this Jesus and his disciples went into the Judean countryside, and he remained there with them and was baptizing. John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because water was plentiful there, and people were coming and being baptized (for John had not yet been put in prison). Now a discussion arose between some of John's disciples and a Jew over purification. And they came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you bore witness-look, he is baptizing, and all are going to him." John answered, "A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven. You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him.' The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease." He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” ~ John chapter 3
The dude seems Russian with the very slight to no emotions that he lets out. Unfortunately some owners only speak marketing and forget themselves. Stop talking business when your business parties aren't in the room.
Why would you be glad about that? Just because you don't know most of the ingredients doesn't mean it doesn't taste good. This a flavor bomb if you actually knew what you were talking about.
When he goes into a dissertation about your dish you know he likes it.. If he gives you a short answer you failed..

traditional Korean bibimbop does have a slightly runny egg on top. it depends on whether u have enough eggs

You can only eat som tam so many times before it loses it’s appeal. There’s not a lot of variety in Thai cuisine, especially up here in Isan territory
Okay this show is great but why is there a new shot every five seconds??? The editors went WAY too hard on this it's so distracting lol
