2008 memories sigh...the best times in kpop land. I probably watched this performance infinite times, I even remember the dance movies. So glad that I watched this live back and fangirled etc. Those times aint coming back. Miss you Wondergirls! As well as 2PM's popularity. T_T JYP Nation
I remember it vividly. It was Christmas vacation, it was late that night, I was browsing through channels when I chanced upon a channel (Arirang) and saw girls in colorful clothes dancing on a colorful stage (which turned out to be what we know now as MAMA) and got instantly hooked. I memorized their name and song and searched them on youtube. Wondergirls introduced me to KPOP (the 2nd was Bigbang who performed on the awards show as well). And I won't forget how after a year, I think, Nobody became an anthem in the Philippines. Even my family danced to the song. You'd hear it being played on the radio, being danced on parties. Even ordinary filipinos knew the steps. This song was truly phenomenal.
Remembering may 18 y.o..self watching this on youtube and replaying nonstop. They are really the girls that made me appreciate kpop. If not for them i wouldn't have noticed kpop. So sad very few kpop stans now don't remember them and just attribue the kpop success to another group.
Its 2019 and its still one of the legendary performances ever happened.. 🔥🔥🔥 and sadly this would never be performed again 😭😭😭 Living in 2019 and realizing its been 11 long yrs Kpop has been really a part of everyone else in the fandom.. its a lifestyle already .. 💖💖💖
Wonder Girls are truly the best kpop girl group that has ever come out. They are exceptional in their performances, singing, etc. Yeah, they're not as "pretty" as other girl groups which I beg to differ. They're beautiful. What is pretty anyway in Korea? Big eyed, plastic looking faces. Which amazes me is how humble they are. And they pawn girl groups in kpop out right now and will always.
