I know you’ve covered Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness already, but Core Design released one more game after that: Smart Bomb, a puzzle game for the PSP. As for great games Core made, they developed the Chuck Rock series, which was well-received and I believe is considered one of their few genuinely good titles (I haven’t played it myself, though). In 2002, members of Core Design left the company to form Circle Studio, who would only release one game, that being Without Warning, a third-person shooter published by Capcom for PS2 and Xbox in 2005. That game is just awful, which would fit the janky game playlist for this channel. They released a few DVD games after that, then they closed in 2007.

I don't comment much. but i think if you gave this game a serious chance you would actually like it. FIRST of all, if your felling lazy, they have god mode codes baked in so you can "tour" the game if you like. the 1st level is by far the most boring. there is WAY better stuff in later levels. at one point you can even embark on a branching path to decide where to go next. other things include: an arctic base level that is normal until you get to the boss that is a jack in the box type robot with a man's flesh thrown on it. you defeat it by overfeeding it bio protein until it explodes, a town of mutant zombies caused by a gas station explosion, a Robot Prison, laser bazookas, and a final boss fight that is just the ending of terminator 1 in which the boss keeps coming no matter what you do. that satellite in the intro? it's actually an orbital laser that you MUST use to kill the final boss. YOUR WELCOME.
Tank controls still? I guess they didn't thought on doing a hybrid controls and movements of Resident Evil 3 and Crash Bandicoot 3 that ends up being like Devil May Cry 1 gameplay and controls. (able to have free 8 directions of movements or 360 like movements, and able to aim and lock-on/focus-on with melee, guns or weapons.
I just remembered this and think it would be a fun romp to try out. Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M. I remember playing it as a kid and would always remember it but never remembered the name until I just looked it up to see if anyone else aside from me and my friend played it lol
When I played this as a kid I hated it. Terrible disappointment following the first entry. Played it again as an adult, and I despised the controls. A few years later I gave it another shot and you know what? I like it quite a bit. Once you get a hang of the controls its fun and still FF in spirit. Weapon variety and combat is pretty good, and you can take on encounters a number of ways. Great atmosphere, and fun gameplay once you get the hang of it. It's a guilty treat of a gem for brawler lovers.
It was one of my childhood games along with tomb raider 3 its extensive and complex levels, along with the variety of weapons and attacks, and the design of the scenarios made it one of my favorites Although I certainly did not play the first installment
It's the worst Dreamcast game ever and I really liked the original Fighting Force on ps1, N64, and I PC. The original one was similar to streets of rage but without any music or good music. Has been awhile but I remember being completely disappointed by this title for Dreamcast. I don't know if I ever owned a legit copy of this. I collect Dreamcast games but this is one I probably won't ever have in my collection. Probably around 99.9 % of Dreamcast games are good entertaining fun. This happens to be the exception. I would have rather a port of the original one on Dreamcast over this turd.
Man I spent my childhood Having fun on fighting force 1 with my bestie. When I bought the shitquel here I was like “the f is this garbage? Why is there only one playable fighter and where is the 2 p couch coop mode?” Whoever came up with this I swear I can’t get how his brain works
Nightmare Creatures 2 is still way better than this, in terms of being an appropriate sequel. You're still killing monsters through creepy environments. This isn't even a brawler anymore, has no co-op, and controls terribly.
Matt McMuscles - C’mon, man. Nightmare Creatures 2 did keep the same tone as the original. But, the gameplay was so busted and janky, it was barely playable. I honestly think the game was shipped pre-alpha.
Matt McMuscles - No. FF2 goes on forever and a day. At least it is playable. Nightmare Creatures 2 is not. You should check it out for this channel. Between the unappealing character designs, sloppy graphics, subpar gameplay, Rob Zombie and bugs, it’s almost too bad to be true.

Hey Matt if you ever get a chance, could you check out Apocalypse on the ps1, with Bruce Willis? Lol
Tank controls still?
I guess they didn't thought on
doing a hybrid controls and movements of Resident Evil 3 and Crash Bandicoot 3
that ends up being like Devil May Cry 1 gameplay and controls.
(able to have free 8 directions of movements or 360 like movements, and able to aim and lock-on/focus-on with melee, guns or weapons.

Yeah Mario 64 or even crash bandicoot movements would been better for 3rd person games like these
I was looking through my Dreamcast collection, and I forgot I bought this game for 4 bucks. Lol
is that david hayter as the voice of the main character?
I just remembered this and think it would be a fun romp to try out. Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M. I remember playing it as a kid and would always remember it but never remembered the name until I just looked it up to see if anyone else aside from me and my friend played it lol
Man even the tomb raiders core made weren’t the good ones. I only like the last three myself
Fight force 2 and State of emergency 2 felt like the same game
Man you are giving me flashbacks with all the eidos games. Fighting force 1 & 2 and Ninja were some of the first ps1 titles I owned.
I'm so so sorry for you
It was one of my childhood games along with tomb raider 3
its extensive and complex levels, along with the variety of weapons and attacks, and the design of the scenarios made it one of my favorites
Although I certainly did not play the first installment
Never knew this existed, and I’m glad I didn’t know 🗑️
It's the worst Dreamcast game ever and I really liked the original Fighting Force on ps1, N64, and I PC.
Man I spent my childhood
Having fun on fighting force 1 with my bestie. When I bought the shitquel here I was like “the f is this garbage? Why is there only one playable fighter and where is the 2 p couch coop mode?”
Whoever came up with this I swear I can’t get how his brain works
Core's heydey was back in the amiga era, they made a few sega cd games as well.
Oh a Dreamcast video? Alright I guess I can watch this in the middle of the night.
character movement is just like tomb raider
Fuck yeah! Fighting Force 2! I actually like this game.
Worst sequel ever? Not even close. Nightmare Creatures 2 is way worse than this, and I don’t even think that’s the worst sequel ever.
@@DetroitAlan01 Still way more fun than this. This is barely in the same genre. It's just super boring, and it goes on forever.
I actually used to play this game a lot when i was a kid. Really enjoyed back then, not sure if it holds up.
Spoilers: it doesn't
@@MattMcMuscles 😂😂😂 some ppl like generally bad games it’s ok
