- A relaxing walk of the Lake Trail at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Town of Cary. I started off at the Boathouse Rentals & Concessions and followed the Lake Trail to the right which loops around the lake. This is just one of several other trails such as the Paw Paw and Pine Cone Trails. Other than the humidity of 80+% making it hard to breathe, it was a nice day out, even saw a deer cross the road in front of me. Finally, I paid my respects to Kassel Smit, the boy scout that was taken in a car accident 16 years ago, at 16, RIP.
