Here's a difference: Yesterday, it was a young, first year starter who allowed the pressure to get to him and thought he had to win the day on a single throw. He will learn from that mistake and pull it back in the future- he was learning from a new experience. In the past, it was veteran, HoF QB's who made the conscious decision to take the season into their hands and play outright hero ball. It was ego that drove a decision, not inexperience fueling a mistake. That's a huge difference.
@@kovert6407 Also, those two previous HOF QBs had extremely reliable kickers and Jordan Love did not so even he does not make the mistake of throwing the interception, I don't trust Anders Carlson to make it from literally anywhere on that field. So in a way, Jordan Love actually did need to play hero ball because if he had a reliable kicker, it's a tie game and they let it go into OT.
This is 1000% accurate. I had a 20 minute conversation with myself saying a lot of these things on the way home from my dad's. "Future is bright, we are ahead of schedule, etc."

Niners fan, I love watching this guy, whether it's Packers fans he's emulating or any other team, funny as hell. Niners-Packers will always be bad blood, but just remember there were fans like me suffering 3 playoff knockouts against the Packers in the 90s, after the Cowboys did the same thing to us for a few years. For all of our team accolades, it yielded but 1 ring, and your Packers were a big thorn in our side. This payback has been sweet this past decade. The Niners played a bad game, and the Packers played a good one, up until the end. But you Packers fans really should be excited and proud, not many teams accomplish all that in a rebuilding year, and you will be good for years to come.
