Get a copy of the police report and submit a detailed itemized list along with fair market values to your car insurance company. Also, check your homeowner’s insurance too- possibly any gaps might be covered under that policy too. Best of luck and keep us posted. You will get through this! Stay positive and stay strong! I'm so sorry. I'm glad you called the police. It's an awful feeling. I had this happen early 2023 both me and my husband had our car windows broken and it makes you feel so vulnerable and targeted. You will recover, it will take a little while. Sending you lots of love and good vibes.

I'm sorry to hear. It is so violating and vulnerable to be stolen from... especially from your car... at a skate event? That is so wrong on so many levels. If you have renter's or home owner's insurance.... what was taken, may be covered. Just something to look at. Remember that at the end of the day... it's just stuff. You'll make more and your skate community will be there to support and buy more from you, when you're ready. Take good care of yourself.

Oh no, Rebel! I'm sorry this happened. Some humans just suck and don't consider the hard work of others. I'm glad that you, Shove, and Bowie are physically okay just heartbroken for a short time. It's hard picking up the pieces, but you will do it. I'm crossing my fingers that someone has some security video and that might lead to finding out who did this. Until then, hang in there queens (and furry gentleman). ❤

The cops literally said there are zero consequences to people who steal from cars... smh it's all gone. We even drove around the neighborhood to see if we could find anything they may have dumped

I'm sorry this happened to you, but I really wish people would start to take more responsibility about protecting themselves. I see car break in after car break in with people asking for help or money to replace stolen items. We should all know by now that leaving your stuff in your car, especially overnight is a big no no. I get it, I own a product based business and am exhausted after vending at pop ups all day but I always unload my car.

It's terrible that stuff like that happens and it's a little weird that someone would steal something like that as well... Like what will they do with signs?
She addressed the insurance. They don’t really cover everything.
Some people will steal anything, in the hopes of selling it or trading it. It's pretty specific stuff so hopefully maybe the thief/thieves will get busted trying to unload it on FB marketplace or similar.
It was a smash and grab. They were closed containers, the only thing they took time to go through was a tote bag The rest they probably didnt even look inside. The cops said that its been happening a ot in the last month, even if ssomeone just has sunglasses on their dash because theres zero consequences.... I have so many feelings about that.
Just know you’re going to get back more than you lost… I hate that this happened but I glad that you’ve got the cry out and now laughing….
