    OU may have been 5-5 but that was mainly due to offensive ineptitude. Many forget that OU’s talent isn’t far behind Alabama. It was only a matter of time before they started to click. With a talented enough team playing well and Alabama not, you get that result.

    That first Bama offensive play where Stutsman popped him in the mouth set the tone. Milroe looked intimidated... not scared, but intimidated.

    It was a dominant performance. OU also miss a wide open end zone play and a field goal because of course they did. It was still an ass whipping. We have barely an offensive line and the entire wide receiver room out.

    Don’t try to persuade Alabama fans that what we witnessed last Saturday in Norman is okay.

    I agree with Klatt on pressure at partcular times in a game over "analytics" . There are times where the psychology of the opponent matters more than slide rules and math nerds will ever understand about the game .

      They do pretty good considering they handicap all the games for Vegas with billions on the line.

      @givem110 Bookmakers trying to figure out what the right numbers are to get equal numbers of suckers betting on either side of a line is a completely different job than trying to be a coach .
      A coach needs to manage the psychology his football team versus the psychology of his opponent .
      Ironically ... the answer is even in the example uses . Vegas sets odds every single week that bare no resemblence to the actual outcomes in the games .

    That's right, Oklahoma deserves no credit. They didn't practice, didn't study, have no talent, playing or coaching, and didn't win the game.

      Keep telling urself that buddy. Any other team would've given up after the season they've had but not Oklahoma and don't expect them to struggle next year like they have this year because it's not gonna happen an we damn sure don't need no validation from some Monday morning couch coach we'll take our respect

      @@BrianJohnsonArmwrestling Look up the definition of sarcasm in the dictionary. It is just possible you are capable of learning. That post was aimed at the many, many lamebrains that only cry, cry that 'Bama gave it away and won't look at the reality. It is obviously sarcasm as even the stupidest of football watchers knows every team, flag-football to NFL practices every week and studies a playbook in addition to the upcoming opponent, not to mention even the 'Bama fans know OU won the game.
      ( I was born in Tulsa and have lived here for 64 years, have had season tickets to Owen Field 15 different seasons, my favorites being 1970-1978, been to over a hundred OU games in Norman, dozens in Dallas in October, Stillwater every other season in the '70s, Lawrence twice, and even in Boulder, got as much Crimson and Cream blood as anybody ever if not more)

    Florida has alot talent and their freshman QB is going to be a Star. SEC teams all have more Top recruiting that any other conference. This why they always win the Naty. Watch and see SEC gonna roll these other teams come platoff.

    • @ejesbd
      @ejesbd 2 дні тому

      Wake up, brother, NIL has changed the game. Last year showcased the difference. What you'll see until things change again is that money wins. The richest conferences (SEC and B1G) will dominate college football because they're paying for the best players.

  • @givem110
    @givem110 3 дні тому +13

    In the sec you can play a team that's struggled all year but u still have to face a team with the 12th most talented roster in the country in Florida. This is what these commentators leave out. 85% of college football is recruiting and there's almost no weeks off in the sec. Bama faced an Oklahoma team that's #8 in the country in team talent. A team that's flawed but has that kind of talent they're always dangerous. The big 10 has had 4 programs that recruit in the top10 and 5 of the top 20. After that there's a huge drop off. ACC has 3 in the top 15 and the big 12 has nobody that recruits top 25.

    • @Zskillit
      @Zskillit 3 дні тому +6

      Brother, Oklahoma had about 15 players injured. Their talent level on the field that day was nowhere near top 10. Alabama is just undisciplined and poorly coached, does not matter how much talent is on a roster if you can't coach them

    • @givem110
      @givem110 2 дні тому

      The idiotic things they say on here makes me pray they're like 8 years old because a grown man shouldn't argue over basic common sense stuff like which conference is by miles the best. I get onto sec homers too because I don't believe in that in a time where the sec is so far ahead it's just beyond stupid to argue otherwise. They're comeback is always " nuh uh"! Better players equals better play and when Florida or Oklahoma is around 10-11 in the sec and they got NFL guys everywhere that should explain it pretty clearly

    Defense - 3-3-5 always weak against the run, Womack WILL NOT go to a heavy box or 4-4, hell get into goal line D if you have to... but OU passed 11 times BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO FING WIDE RECEIVERS!!!! and Womack stays in his base D.... CRAZY!!!!
    Offense - Sheridan is either dumb or handcuffed by Milroe's limitations = FACT!!! Calling QB keepers or allowing Jalen to make the wrong read and keep the ball....when your RBs are averaging 5 yards a carry - idiotic.... Not a slant play or screen in the entire playbook??? WTF? Isn't OU 18th in run D, and 112 in pass D???? No adjustments - and for God's sake could you go to 12 personnel or put a TE on the field to help your tackles block speed rushers??? Why is this hard???? Corrupt, Stupid, or incompetent.... no other choices after this performance.
    BTW - Milroe should never put on the uniform after that piss poor effort on a tackle after his pick 6.... The season is on the line, and Milroe protecting his shoulders by doing a soccer slide tackle... GTFOH. These players gettin paid WIN OR LOSE??? Right??? There's the problem....
