I'll have to check this out, very informative...Had to laugh at the full grown men in the tent all looking at their cell phones...

Great video! Most comprehensive on the growler and fire can on UA-cam and the one that made me decide to dive in on the setup. Thanks!

    Yep, a good system.
I found a much less expensive five-pound propane canister on Amazon.
I also found a lava rock fire pit for about $100 that’s more like a camp fire than that fire can.
We found that those 5lb propane tanks only last for about an hour of actual burn time for a fire pit.
We’ll keep the 5lb tank for back-up, but use 20lb tanks for regular use.
We have two 20lb propane tanks on our RV, but will purchase two more 20lb propane tanks for use with the propane campfires.
Most RV parks will not allow wood burning fires, so these handy little portable propane fire pits are just the thing for those situations.
We recently spent several weeks on the road, and never had any issues using the propane fire pit.
    Happy Camping!

Great video. I'm liking the Elite Model. As for the 5lb Growler, one of my local propane sources won't fill 5lb cylinders. The attendants are confused as it doesn't show up on their price sheet. The second supplier charges for a 10lb fill, no savings there. Neither do partial refills or top offs. One pays for a full fill whether you need it or not.

Those 1 lb propane bottles *are* refillable. You can get an adapter and fill them with the larger tanks.

Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should, it is just not smart to do... There are the reasons explained all over the you tube, lazy to type myself, just dangerous.
The 5lb. tank is $60 in Canada (Canadian Tire), refill $10, all legal and safe...

What is the average time that the fire pit will run on that 5lbs tank?
I just bought mine and haven’t used it yet and was curious about the efficiency of using the 5lbs tank
Thanks for the content and review!
