A friend recommended Tonetta to me. He described him, for the benefit of my expectations, as an outsider musician and a kind of mix of Lou Reed, Wesley Willis, and Daniel Johnston. There's elements, but for my first listen Tonetta is very much his own thing. I think I need to listen to more.
I just found out about him today, and I spend lots of time looking for new music. I found out about him from a comment on a Sean Nicholas Savage video from someone about how they met Sean and were talking about Tonetta. And here I am, adding all his songs to playlists.

Man I run a somewhat successful UA-cam channel and a somewhat successful tiktok, I tried putting Tonetta songs on my tiktok but no one watched it, I don't think it would be possible for him to get big on it unless he did it daily himself. I feel the only way Tonetta could go viral is if he made Instagram, Reddit, UA-cam or TikTok live streams, I feel a lot of people would tune into that eventually, I've been talking to him about getting his music on spotify and his thoughts on that, I hope I get somewhere with it, he desperately needs recognition!
