Thanks for a great video. I grow oregano thyme, mint, lemon balm, lemongrass, Echinacea and so many more. It is fun to make the different oils, for example dandelion oil and add beeswax to make an oil to rub in. Also have made comphrey like that. Want to try calendula too. I have enjoyed this series a d thank you for doing this. There has been so much information. Haven't got your herbal book yet but plan on it.
I finally got some seeds started today. It's still windy and cool here, so into the green house they went: borage, chamomile, marshmallow, echinacea, catnip, anise hyssop, tulsi, yarrow, arnica and stevia. This will be a great year for teas!!
Great video! My husband bought me your book for mother's day when it first ca came out, love it! I need to get your chicken book too, I've been raising mine for 10 years now...they are very therapeutic to me after a long day at work caring for my elderly people. God bless you and yours!
Outstanding video, Amy. I thought your baby was my baby on the monitor! I am planting a cottage garden and would like to have herbs for medicinal and culinary reasons. I have experience in growing plants from seeds in a greenhouse but am happy to buy potted plants in the spring. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the video. I'm new to the homesteading community, but have been interested in growing my own herb garden and food for awhile now. I will definitely get your book. God bless you for sharing your knowledge. ☺
Perfect timing with this collab video Amy. I have your book here on the table and was making decisions on what I'm going to be growing this year. I'll be amping up my garden this year. I have some herbs already in pots but this year I will be adding a medicinal garden into the mix. Lots of great tips here. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that has a tough time getting herbs to grow from seed. Thanks for the extra tips! I'm enjoying the collaboration very much.
Thanks for the video!! I want to get into growing herbs. I bought some starts last year and really enjoyed them! I got some seeds this year and I'm just waiting to plant them! Thanks for the tips!

Real life Homesteading is the best! I love herbs and chickens and have both your books 😊. What I would love to plant and haven't been able to find is comfrey. I live in north eastern Ontario, so I'm not sure if it's a location thing. I'm in zone 4a will it grow here?
My husband has been chewing a garlic clove every night for over a year now...this is the first year that I've been married to him ( 10 years), that he has been sick three times now 😳
Baby boy is precious

I do have your book and love it. It explains herbs so well. Thanks
Thank you Amy. Last summer I grew lemon balm and lemongrass. Love it!! The mix on a tea is calming, puts me to sleep right away.

We use lemon balm (very small dose) for our dogs during those times of fireworks. It actually helps to keep them calm!
Thank you for the encouragement. I won your book at a giveaway. Love it❤
My chives and basil seem to seed themselves!

you're awesome, this is mikes wife. have you had experience with elder leaf decoction tincture? thanks for everything
I don't really recommend the leaf. I recommend using the berries.

It will grow there! Try looking on Etsy for plants. Often times you can find them there. Otherwise you can buy seeds from seed companies
I can't find astragalus anywhere! I would like to try and grow it myself...can you give me any ideas where to get seeds?
Following, I want to grow it as well.
I'm looking to grow it this year as well. If I find a reputable source I'll share!
Please do! Thank you

this year has been ROUGH. We've gotten sick and we haven't gotten sick in years!
I think it's because of a warmer than usual.. at here in Ohio. Wasn't cold enough to kill germs 🤷♀️
