I like how ML went from being clueless and believing whatever his 'female friend' said, to questioning her himself, and finally abandoning her on the road when she impatiently bad mouthing FL. Though, he should never let her hold his arm if he really cares about her reputation (or even hang out with her after he knew about gossip surrounding both of them after his wedding night).
I think this may be my second favorite version of this storyline. At first, I had high hopes for the Fl's mother, but she turned out to be a very different character....she didn't really care which daughter made her rich. LOL I like how they changed the plot with the husbands. Very interesting to me. 👍
