The people in Southern India and Sri Lanka in my opinion are the BEST on the planet. So so freindly and hospitable. Lovely memories.

Great video.... I'm seriously thinking about heading out to India next year...usually I go to Turkey almost every year but India is going to be high on my list. Love those hammocks you were showing that lady was selling....and those bazaars. Thanks again for sharing your amazing videos. But come to Ontario in the north....we have thousands of lakes there and great woods to hike in....and my city of Toronto is amazing, it's very diverse.
Check out the music video I made in Toronto: ua-cam.com/video/5ymjkjaqcTM/v-deo.html

Great video.. !
I'm definitely interested in visiting. nice video
A nice journey recorded by traveller it seems that I am walking with him
Looks like a very ancient place. I've never heard of Hampi before, so I credit UA-cam's Autoplay for bringing me here. But I can already tell that there is far more to this place than everyone notices. It also looked like an excavation was in progress on that long straight path you were walking. Around the 11 minute mark, the stones nearly looked like a foundation to an ancient megalithic structure, and that very well could be, I'm almost certain you were over the top of a vast underground complex perhaps like those in Turkey in the Cappadocia region. Or maybe I'm just wicked baked at the moment, but thanks for posting, I'm definitely curious about this place now.
Tq
another amazing vlog loved it.. gabriel on a mission :D
Cool, glad to hear it.
Interesting video again , thanks for posting
Love the video bro
Rice fields embraced by high rock, amazing landscape.
Thanks a lot for sharing 👌👌🙏
Gabriel, I recommend that you always carry a stick in India: first, in case you are walking through grass and therefore need to warn the snakes, especially cobras, that you might disturb and that could be dangerous; second, so that you have protection against the occasional aggressive dog or monkey. I love your videos and have enjoyed discovering new places and returning to places I know well, such as Hampi and Gokarna, during the Covid lockdown in the United Kingdom. You should have gone for a swim in the reservoir on this side of Hampi. The water is beautifully cool and you were quite near to it.
I agree, carrying a stick is a good idea. I've been swimming in the reservoir a few times on different visits.
Great Vids ! Thank you for giving prices. I always learn something. You are a Kind Soul . Good luck in your Life. I smashed the Sub button a while back.
Wow... loved to see my hometown after so long.... been 15 years now☹️
Vijaynagar - that rail used to have some well crazed hippies living in the bush beside it -magic place
very fascinating place.........thank you
Hey from Ukiah again I've been showing people your videos, great work man.
Cool!

Amazing
i was curious about the weather here and saw its way up around 99 degrees! you're pretty tough walking around in that kind of weather!!
Thanks, yeah it gets brutal in the afternoon. After I finished filming I got under that pavilion where the people were playing music and hung out in the shade for a while and listened to them jamming, pretty sweet. The couple was from Berlin, Germany.
I love hampi I miss you hampi.. the great history. in world rich
Hi Gabriel ur videos are just amazing..
Thanks.
Nice video thanks man it's my hometown.. you should have visited in August as Dam water will be released and the nature beauty will be awesome...!
Hay Gabriel, about the "Dudu falafel" it's the name of the restaurant, falafel is a middle Eastern food made with chickpeas and Dudu is probably the name of the owner it's a "cuteified" form of David like Gabe for Gabriel ;)
so if you have time go try it, although I personally prefer the Sabik... better yet, maybe come to Israel and have the original ;)
(let me know if you do, I'll be happy to show you around :) )
names can have more than one cuteified version
Yeah in this part of the world it would be Dave, lots of Daves around. But anyway, I would be happy to try one in Israel itself and I'll even be okay with the nickname.
U doing great job..bcz u ppl showing hampi to whole world by ur interest..proud of u
This literally made me cry! Spent a wekk in Hampi back in 2013 and it was magical. Wanted to right about it but my memory is so hazy which is how I came by this wonderful video. Makes me feel like I am back there again. Stayed in a rambling dilapidated guesthouse farther into the rice fields owned by this tough but wonderful woman whose name I do not remember. She is one of the only people with a car in the area and rides her scooter almost everywhere. Do not know if you might know who I am talking about. She's Indian but quite modern and progressive. I would love to reconnect with her.
That view at 11:30 is stunning, brother!
Congrats on 70K subs !
Thanks, it's a pretty awesome number for sure.

Looking for more thrilling adventure? visit Pothigai hills in Trivandrum.
have you been to the mango tree? is there still that lovely swing?
They moved the restaurant into town actually. I walked over there and discovered it wasn't there anymore. Maybe they realized they would get more business right in town. It was just around the corner from my guest house so I went there several times.
"That girl was so British" That is hysterical!
ahhh... i went exactly down that path between the rice fields....and discovered the most amazing place to stay....stayed there for 10 days, only 5 mud hut, the most amazing nepali cook, and an environmentalist as a owner...wonderful people, lovely food and a fire going every evening.... he is still not advertising...i checked :D

Gabriel, what is your plan for the year/next few months- if you even have a plan. Any countries on your mind that you haven't been to yet?
I'm flying back to the United States in a week. I'll be house sitting at my mom's house for about a month while she's gone. After that I have no idea yet, I'll be figuring it out.
@9:41 that guy was offended by "mowgli", he thought gabriel calling him jungle boy
Haha, woops.
maybe I'll set the song at 6:04 as my alarm clock lol.
Yeah that little temple on the hilltop you went to at the end was from the Vijaynagar time but they came along a few years back and put little cement idols all over it when they made the shelter.
Looks bizzare now almost spooky especially with all the broken little cement gods littered around. Shame as it was nice before.
500 yrs ago this was like today's newyork of world..even u cant see such quality infrastructure in today's india
Love the soundtrack gabe do they still have the signs warning about being drugged and kidnapped on those paths especially over by the waterfalls safe travels
Didn't see any signs about that or hear any bad stories. Maybe something happened in the past.
I just visited one week back.. beautiful place one of the richest market in the world ..in srikrishnadevaraya times
Thanks for you. plz vist again.
Gabriel, you made it to the temple, but starting from 11:50 onward the camera was moving quickly around and it was difficult to watch the temple and the scenery.
Yeh, I was nearly sick ......... :-)
Hi,,, I generally like your videos Gabriel but from time to time (and this is one of this) is the perfect way of being dizzy from those side to side quick movements... I cannot see it the whole video (and some other more) because of this shaking stressful side to side movement... Just my opinion but I am pretty sure if you avoid those movements would be SO MUCH pleasant to watch this and other of your vids.... ; )
I am really early :o
Your hampi toor is very nice whare you from.
Thanks. I'm from the United States.

Hey Gabriel, great videos and info. Did you explore Hampi by foot? it is possible to explore hampi by walking? And how many days would you advice to stay in Hampi?
Cheers and thanks !
Yes, I walked all over Hampi. You can also rent a bike which is a great way to get around (but you can't easily take it across the river), or you can rent a motor scooter. Have fun, it's an incredible place to explore.
...alright, alright, alright
I was there last week, and the most interesting parts are not the temples but the megalithic pyramidal hills / mountains all around that are the real much older ruins of civilizations that were most likely built by giants, by races of much larger beings than present day mankind. The histories we are taught are not all to be trusted, neither are many of the ruins, such as I saw in Vittale Temple, which, very obviously, has structures from different epochs on top of each other. Some of them very recent, being passed off as ‘ancient’. There is repair work going on where they are creating statues and works of art that will be passed off as hundreds of years old in the very near future, after some intentional discolouration has been applied!
Better to visit in winter Aug to Feb...summer it's too hot
did u have the dudu falaphel!???lol!
