As a Hungarian, I feel very touched by this song. I felt like listening to my ancestors. So many people don't realize that we are brothers and sisters and have the same roots, some deeper than we can ever imagine. In the ancient times, peoples had deep spiritual bonds with nature, they were traveling, migrating in tribes and when they met, they wedded with each other, making alliances and blood pacts and with this, they created new ways of life, new cultures and languages. We are our ancestors as they are us. Once we understand this, we will find our way Home.

We aren't all brothers and sisters. That's the point. You can't just lump everyone together. That's true racism. Dismantling culture and differences

@@imooumoo4 We ARE all brothers and sisters, because we are all humans beings, even if we are different. There is no racism in recognizing that different peoples and cultures have many things in common, that is a fact. Take time to look things up before you attack anyone on the internet.

As an American metal fan, I really enjoy seeing music like this from any non English speaking band and non "modern" styles of music trend alot more recently. This song is a masterpiece even though I don't understand a word of it. Good music transcends spoken language and speaks musically universally.

It is kinda crazy how simply focusing on song structure and mixing can change the dynamic of a band. Nytt Land has always been good, no doubt. Yet, this album seems like a major production, with a focus on structure, composure, and overall quality being ramped up. Even at their most complex prior, it didn't have THIS level of production and very thought-out song structure. The throat singing was a part of it, now it's both lyrical and added as part of the ambiance. The mixing is WAY better, like whoever is producing this is doing an outstanding job.

I think that every culture, when we were all ONE in the ancient past sang like this together, and we understood one another. But there are still places where people still remember and sing like this; the Altai region of Siberia, Turkic People's (who span Europe, Asia and Africa) The Scandinavian and the Norse Countries. Its one of the Mothertongues. It belongs to each and every one of us, that's why when someone sings like this it resonates with our true being. Its cathartic. It stirs something deep within. It wakes us up. Helps us to remember. And then we find our peace. Its not a "faze." It is a collective remembrance.

I believe in the Old Turkish religion Tengrism and the number of Tengrists in Turkey is increasing significantly, likewise, the Central Asian Siberian Turks are returning to Tengrism, Tengriism, paganism, shamanism, these are kind of sister religions, beliefs, if you look at history, the Turks are Mongols. The homeland of Scandinavians and many peoples is Siberia, yes, we are brothers, we are the Turanian nation, we are of the same race. People realize this, albeit slowly.

@@Tysandifer in fact, that's what this should be closest to.
This is actually from siberian tribal culture, which is distantly related to north american native culture.
North american natives migrated there from europe during the last ice age and have their original roots in Siberia and Finland. You'll even see that finnish Sami people look very similar and have similar traditions to some american natives, and that there's similar tribes all around that historic migration path (or at least used to, they were historically persecuted quite often).
Nytt Land use norse/germanic (which is broadly the same, btw, the norse were one bigger germanic tribe and just survived christianization longer) cultural themes as inspiration for some of their songs, but culturally they're rooted in Siberian animism, which is close to American native culture.
In fact, the one culture that doesn't play much into this is slavic.

I just discovered NYTT LAND last week and I swear I listen to this song every day AT LEAST a dozen times. Its so damn addicting, hypnotic and beautiful. I even learned Tuvan throat singing because of this (still a long way to go with that but I have you guys to thank for getting me started). Much love from America \m/

Wonderfu. It's brilliant the this music is being recognised - from Mongolia through to Russia and inyo other places where throat singing is thriving (inuit Canada for instance). Love this stuff. But how does Natalya possibly find that voice. I am lost in admiration for her

Go to 31 miutes in the video, they are both throat singing. Natalya is the high part.

Sehr besonders. Thänx for all.
