I have definitely seen Belladonna going on a lot of TBRs this month. I will be rereading it along with Foxglove and then jumping right into Wisteria. As you can probably tell I love the series. I hope your reads go well. Have a great month.

You are SO making me want to dust off my stack of old mass market paperback paranormal romances I picked up in a giant box at a sale one year...I've read very few of them and they're pretty dated, but the mix of terrible, nostalgic, and so bad they might be good could be REALLY fun. BELLADONNA!!! One of my favorite books, and favorite series EVER!! I might be just a tiny bit crushed if you don't love this but I kind of can't imagine you not pining for death (wow, did THAT sound wrong) so, I feel good about my chances here. Phoenix prompt: Everyone else: Pretty birds, sweet cozy fantasy. Ash: Smutty smut smut. But then again, I chose lust for my emotion-inducting read so, not sure I have room to say much of anything here. You're so lucky, my library is only just trying to bust out of its conservative surroundings. The town is slowly changing-- it's like a little microcosm of the country at large-- and a lot of people are REALLY unhappy. (But not meeeeeeee) Holly Black, OF COURSE we're going there, did you JUST...Wow. AND I CARE about the goat legs, ASH. Think about how awful sleeping next to cold feet it, and now imagine HOOVES under the sheets. The would not just be cold, but SHARP. OUCH! @@LitCouture A WHOLE box of old paranormal romance!? Omg that would be so fun and chaotic to choose from. I just KNOW that there's gonna be such a mixed bag in there. If you ever pick one out, I hope to see it in a future video because that sounds like a mostly good time I'm halfway through Belladonna and okay, I'm not LOVING it but I'm so curious what's going to happen, and I think it'll grip me the more I read as the mystery and romance continues, but yes Death is very easy to swoon over. We cannot help ourselves with a shadow daddy character, I blame the authors. I had little to no choice, I don't have any Phoenix books otherwise, it's not like I read smut much anyway...kidding aside I love that we both twisted prompts for some romance books. This is one of the many reasons I jive so well with you I'm honestly shocked my library even has some of the books I've seen for a conservative city, I hope it stays that way and people don't ruin it. But I know the US is bad for the censorship of books especially lately which is SO upsetting and frustrating, but I love that for everyone that it's changing, ESPECIALLY the people who don't like it because hopefully it helps their children learn and open their minds to the topics
