I remember seeing this game pop up when I was like 8 years old or so and I thought it looked like the sweetest game ever but I always found it so hard to justify playing it over the years given how much more popular other MMO's were and seeing how this game was solely focused around spending real money. Sure, you're gonna spend money here and there on just about any MMO on the market at some point or another.. but I guess I like knowing that the value of these items is only what I give it. If I want a sweet new piece of gear in WoW for example, I have to actually play the game to obtain it but with Entropia the whole thing appears designed that you have to buy it will your credit card. I'm just not sure how I feel about that.
Imo you need to decide your own endgame in Entropia. If you just want to hit endgame you’ll likely spend a lot but you can try to start a business, become so efficient $10 lasts months or focus on an obscure thing. My goal was to become a free to play landowner and after over a decade it happened
Not much of a "player guide" for beginners tbh. I've played the tutorials and a few missions and haven't learnt anything from this video. How do you progress, what are levels, skills, professions, do I have to skillup separately for every weapon, what to look for in gear, hw to improve it, are the starting packs worth it, etc? Nope, it's almost only PEC this and PED that. Some people don't mind paying for their entertainment, be it $20/mo or a similar amount in donations or deposits. But all of the guides I've seen so far are some kind of crypto-bro ad instead. Never mind.
Really good suggestions. I’ll try to make a video covering all this. It’s a complex game so it’s hard to cover it all but I did miss a lot of this stuff that isn’t obvious to beginners. Thank you!

Best game ever. Its a shame that people nowadays are used to fast games. Fast leveling, fast profiting in ingame currency, fast gearing. People dont have the patient with this game. If MindArk cracks that code, finds something to keep new players ingame longer that three weeks, this game will explode.
All these beginners guides done by, already skilled players. An experienced player needs to stop using their old avatar and make a new one. Then make videos for new players
I asked and the statement from someone at MA was it’s not allowed. Due to the time requirements to make a guide like this I probably wouldn’t do it anyways but wanted to comment so others knew
@@hey-so7hx they’ve got a huge engine update coming soon (Unreal 5) so hopefully that’ll all change! For me the game is very nostalgic so the old graphics are part of the charm

Better use a higher quality or kbps setting and maybe another codec that is not interlaced.
