Pretty sure the radar being discolored only occurred at the end of a round when the new MVP banner showed up. Noticed last night whenever the new animation popped up the top half of the radar would have a different tint to it.
i had incredibly bad stuttering / frametime issues for about 2weeks my pc is decent enough to run game 144hz / 240hz. This patch fixed it for the most part and game feels very smooth.
I can't understand how a game like this, competitive wise on a Ryzen 5 1600 with 12 cores and a GTX 1070 runs so badly. For example, on the mills map, and all the new maps, i get 90+100 fps with tons of stuttering, my 1% lows are 41 fps. How can someone make a game so unoptimized really bums me. Also, a game like Resident Evil Village, runs on silky smooth 120 FPS, Ready or Not a game that is very very heave on the GPU, depending on the settings can run 200 FPS on my system, Infact any DirectX12 Game can. I don't even know anymore... Is this a DirectX11 problem or what. 😑😔
So true. Ive i7 12700h and 3060 ddr5 16 gigs and i get 100-170 avg frames. I used to get 450 in csgo. I tried everything and i run on low to medium settings. Borderline unplayable if you wanna play to win without thinking about fps.
Isn't CS2, and other esport titles like it, more CPU intensive? Ryzen 5 1600 is quite outdated to be honest. An upgrade to a 5600 (non X) would improve framerates & 1% lows significantly. Also what settings are using? You could try turning up graphics settings like Texture/Model & MSAA to 'offset' the load more to the GPU, counter intuitive I know. Might get lower fps max/avg fps but higher 1% lows.. 🧐
@@DavisSgt Im using all lowest settings possible with the Resolution of 1280x960 . My Ryzen 5 1600 hardly ever becomes a huge bottleneck, since my GTX 1070 is on-par with it. They both came around the same time. The problem here isn't with upgrading the CPU in regards, if that is, then even good GPU's and CPU's wouldn't have bad perfomance like people show and say so. The game feels worse overall, It's not using the hardware provided to it's full potential. I gave an example on Resident Evil, both Village and RE4 use DirectX12, and they use the full potential of my Hardware. That's why im thinking it could be the API used. DirectX11 is still an older standard, and for Nvidia at least, Vulkan runs worse than DirectX12. I still fault valve for not optimizing the game. It probably doesn't even use LOD meshes, probably because they thought "CS:GO didn't have them, why should CS2?" But im sure they could change to a different API or optimize the game as they should.
@@deep_z you cannot compare 2 different game engines like that. Sure it's sad to see lower tier pc's struggle to run it like they ran CS:GO but CS:GO was running on a game engine that turns 20 years old this year.
Dont get how that happens to you my old pc had 160 fps max in csGo and I end up with the same result in cs2 and nowadays im having 400 fps perma the game feels smooth af@@deep_z
@@gentleman2292 I checked fps, it's not. Connection via cable and still these strange stutters / rubber banding. However, I'm not sure this is a network issue? Some say reinstalling the game might help but I gotta test with the new update now.
The recording beta is very solid, being able to mark specific parts of a recording is a neat feature. And it's great that it works on Linux. That said, we already have so many recording solutions by now, AMD drivers, Nvidia Experience, Windows GameBar, Bandicam, OBS, etc. The list just goes on and on. Valve is way late to the party on this one.
I think the main benefit is that it's all in one place, this being on steam. From the looks of it the clips / videos also look pretty good for the space they take up, so maybe it's still a good option to choose once it fully releases
What about the ladder climbing bug? Half the time I climb a ladder on nuke I get stuck halfway and cant climb further, feel like the bug has been in the game since 2023
oh I was not aware of any recent ladder bugs. Only issue I had was with team mate collisions recently... I will look into the ladder problem, thanks for sharing !
@@ravncs Thanks man you're a legend, it always happens when I strafe walk up the ladder to go faster. So instead of climbing just with W I climb with W+D, which is why I think it only ever happens to me
There were some issues with them a while ago, where when fast climbing you randomly just get stuck. I remembered that this happened to me months ago a couple of times
Some people have been experiencing pretty bad stuttering when playing the game. For some it was just in death match others had it more frequently and not just in one game mode. This particular patch may finally address this. Hope this explains the patch a bit better
EVERY time we had a update to fix stutters they create stutters for other players... how have they not learn a damn thing from csgo 🤣 Valve should hire the cheat devs... they seems to understand the game 10 times better than Valve can.

Hello lmao@@gentleman2292
The fix of incorrect color on radar was (for me) when you spectate someone when dead and then mvp plays. The left part of mvp is on top of radar
Thanks for sharing
idk about a fix, the game has less stuttering, but over all feels like it runs bad
Fps is totally fucked too. From 380-450 fps in go to 90-180 in cs2. Crazy game.

part 3 of me yapping... WAIT THEY FIXED IT YIPPEE
Hahah yee hopefully they did.
Stuttering not fixed for me. Still a micro freeze every three seconds since last patch :(
I'm sorry to hear that, i will look into whether or not there is maybe another fix
I still rubberband :/ its been happening for a month with no fix that im aware of. Reinstalled, cleared temp files, verified integrity and so forth...
recording beta seems cool
yeee, looking forward to testing it more
Randomly crashing is back for me, it was fixed and now its back
That's not good ... Hopefully they can fix all of these problems soon
this update instead of fixing stuttering gave me even more stuttering
Cs2 wanted me to turn on both gsync AND vsync at the same time
Yes valve suggested that.
However I didn't try that out myself yet, as I basically clicked don't show again.
After the big update I started to have MASSIVE stuttering. Hope that's gone now.
