Okay, so Jason initially took out the part of Lindsey Morgan's script that had Clarke reacting with tears and being on her knees. However, her not crying almost is a greater testament of her pain and shock. Like she can't even grasp the idea. Almost speaks more volumes than instant reaction.
Umm, Lindsey didn't write this episode, she directed it. Two completely different things. So if anyone told Eliza not to cry, it was Lindsey as a director of the episode.

I know everyone was upset that Lindsey's direction was denied, but I agree with Jason's decision to have her act through her eyes because in a way it's so much MORE devastating, powerful with her acting. You can see how much it affects her and it's so in character. She wouldn't drop right off the bat because she doesn't fully believe it. This video is a treat and so perfect for the current season and all the past seasons, I love that you chose this song now. It's so perfect! Thank you for making it!
Season 4/5: Clarke is dead - Praimfaya. Season 5: Bellamy is dead - fighting pit. Season 6: Clarke is dead - Josephine. Season 7: Bellamy is dead - Disciples. None of these times are they truly dead. So what’s different about now?
THIS song paired with Bellarke and Clarke’s reaction last night (the way her smile fell off her face killed me)?! The angst!! You made me CRY. Thank-you, lol. This made my heart ache, and it was soo good. 💕
Maybe I'm alone on this but I actually like Clarke reacting like this instead of crying. It's almost like she's so in shock and hurt that she can't even react properly. Also... I still think Bellarke is our ending. Too much of a buildup and so many little things (look how Raven immediately looks to Clarke here). And just remember, that Bellamy and Echo kiss flashback was a while back... and that was in Echo's head. Doesn't mean that's what "dead" Bellamy has on his mind ;)
I think he was always planning on Bellarke happening right at the end of the series... though I'm beginning to think something happened this season behind the scenes... Even Linsey (who plays Raven) said the season changed a lot half way through). That's very discouraging...if they don't end up together I'll remember them together in the season 5 finale, and looking expectantly to the future. That was the ending Jason choose when he didn't know if there would be any more seasons.

Okay so like you know how Bellamy “died”. What if he jumped in the portal. But you know how time passes differently in the anomaly what if when Clarke and everyone else find a way back to him he has already made a life with someone else, because he thought he wouldn’t see Clarke again. Then it’s too late for them to confess their feelings. 🥺

Why can't she get a real love line while the rest can.. It's been so long she actually falling in love.. all she do was fight all along.. I have been thinking that being Clarke Griffin actually so tired.. everyone always needing her.. she always be the one that suffering doesn't matter what the circumstances.. if she have someone that loved and support her go through everything that wud be so damn good... At least she not always alone..
