Alex had so many great tips, and I am constantly impressed with how much you try and how quick you are at incorporating the changes! Can pretty crazy to just have Alex Waterhouse teaching and Louis climbing in the background!
Surrounded by some pretty impressive strength and ability in that shot haha! Alex is a great coach. Definitely unlocked a lot of moves that didn’t feel possible for me at first! Thanks for watching! 😅
Alex is such a literate, self aware climber. He's always so clear at talking through the choices made on each move, and all the factors that decide those choices as they stack up to the final send. I bet he'd make a great comp commentator as well.
What an awesome coach! He's really capable at breaking things down, noticing what needs to be adjusted, articulating that very well and encouraging his mentee. What a pleasure to watch and learn!
These videos truly are incredible. I’ve also noticed a huge improvement in your bouldering over the last few months; you can definitely tell how hard work makes a difference. Incredible job Hannah!
Another great video!! Watching others climb around the same grade as me gets me really thinking about how i climb and evolving my own technique. Helped me nearly get my first V6 but then I got struck with covid! Boo but psyched to get back to full strength and keep chipping away!
@@hannahmorrisbouldering I am enjoying it so much!! I just got my own pair of shoes too and have been able to make some good progress with techniques and such! Rentals just don’t cut it sometimes 😅
I love your videos Hannah! I learned so much from this. I love hearing your thought process and Alex’s recommendations. It looked like it was a fun session. And you catch on so quick and your keeping at it is so motivating. Thank you for sharing your climbing journey with us!
You’re very welcome! Keep your eyes out for more Pro tips on the channel in the coming weeks - got some more with Alex and a dynamic movement workshop dropping soon :)
Is that Catalyst Climbing I’m spotting there in the background filming? 🤔 Besides that - I love your videos! I just started bouldering in November and it’s been so much fun, made sooooo much progress since then! And even if what you are climbing is still far out of my league, it’s super cool to watch and learn about technique!
@@hannahmorrisbouldering haha so good! I think it‘s a sign that I watched too many bouldering videos recently that I recognizes Louis - but I‘m addicted, I can’t stop! 😂🙌🏻
Great video! I always struggle with dynamic movements so it was nice to see you working the jumpy boulder :) By the way, is this Louis Parkinson on the yellow problem in the background?
I need to stop avoiding these comp style problems. I tend to climb under control. The last one looked fun. Maybe with some pull up power, it would go for you.
The last problem was a far from ideal choice. Dynamic, overhang moves will help your core power grow. Foot off moves?? Not really. You would just get marginally stronger and leave your weak point, the core, untreated. Love your content, keep on having fun.
The first Climbing Bible is great for a more theoretical approach and Vertical Mind: Psychological Approaches for Optimal Rock Climbing was wonderful for the psychological aspect of climbing! ☺️☺️

This was such a great video; so useful as a novice climber myself to see what advice Alex could give you!
Hey Kate! So nice to see you here in the comments. The tips Alex gave were super useful! 😅
Amazing video as always Hannah!
This was so sick, probably the best video you've made in a hot minute, which is saying something because all your videos are fireeeee
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 well this made my day!
Smashed it Hannah 👏 Glad to see you enjoyed the wall, we can't wait to see you again!
Thank you! Sheffield Hangar might just be my new local in a few months time - how many toastie and soup deals can one girl get through per week?!

great video hannah!
Glad you liked it!!
Sneaky Louis parkinson sighting in the background, I've been watching his videos too haha
And Josh Rundle?
Wow its amazing to see your progression!! You are the dream woman ❤❤❤❤
You're AWESOME Hannah! That red one looks super fun
It was great! Thanks Jimmy 😅
19:25 Do I spy Captain Cutloose? Seems to be a proper flurry of UA-cam climbing content going on here, hah!
Content machine!
Thanks for the beta!!
Loved this!
Watched your videos couple times for good tips and couple days ago I walked past hang and you were there only I wasn’t going to climb that day 😅
Oh nice! What a coincidence!
Great video! I always struggle with dynamic movements so it was nice to see you working the jumpy boulder :) By the way, is this Louis Parkinson on the yellow problem in the background?
It was Louis! Watch out for the video coming soon 😉
Good climbing gym, good trainer. Learn a lot from this video

Ahh another great technique breakdown video. These are so great, thank you Hannah! Been trying to get some more dynos myself. 🥴🥴
I know how it be! They’re tricky to master for sure. Glad you liked the video! 🤩🤩

What's the diffrence from double clutch and paddle?
Nothing so far as I can tell. I think they’re the same just a translation. 😊
@@hannahmorrisbouldering I thought so, thx. Awesome video btw
Such a great opportunity to learn from a pro. I could certainly use some more advice to improve.
It was so so useful and lots of fun!
I spy Louis in the back
Yesss
Funny when he went for that hug and she was like uhh nah 12:37
Nooooooooo, I didn’t notice this when I was editing it. I’d never turn down a hug! 🥲

hannah what mics do you use for your videos?
They’re Rode Wireless Go mics!
19:30 Louis filming in the background xD
the louis cameo in the back
Thats not alex waterhouse, I can tell by the pants
Hahaha! 🥸
lmao, is that Louis in the background @ 19:32
Sure is!
love his down to earth approach. Too many narcs in the gym
hes so good, great tips and huge help, but he kinda looks like hes been partying for a week straight and is hungover af :D
I was trying to see what is Louis up to :-/
peep louis in the back
Ur not rlly an amatuer
I've been climbing for a long time so I'm pretty experienced/strong but still would say I'm fairly average in the grand scheme of things!
2 boulders xD
more climbing and less talking would be nice. also please try to be more confident. it hurts to look at that.
