It can be difficult to except the changes in our bodies as we age. With the right nutrition, exercise and breakthroughs in medical science, we can slow the process down. However, as we age, our bodies will continue to change. There comes a point that we must realize that change is inevitable. With that said, we must look at the bigger picture. Such as what's really important; trying to be a better person, seeking peace, joy, happiness, love, truth, wisdom, helping others, sharing, etc. becomes lifelong goals. Our bodies are temporal, but the characteristics that we embrace are eternal.

I hear you. I don't know much about wigs but talk to black women 'cuz they are the experts! 😛I don't want to put people's business out there but yeah... it's understandable how you feel, even though from the outside, your hair looks lovely, it's a matter of how you feel about yourself. Clearly, it's part of your identity, as it is for many, many people. How you see yourself matters, more than how others see you for sure. One good thing, you look like you could TOTALLY rock the bald look if you decided to! Anyway, keep your head up my dear. Beauty truly does come from the inside and no one/nothing can take THAT from you!

I’ve been going through the same experience. It’s been gradual but torturous. I never realized how much I hid behind my hair and how much confidence my hair gave me until I started noticing it thin. You are so brave for posting this on YT but just know you’re not alone.
I also got my blood work done and was little low on iron. Been on supplements, micro needle my scalp a few times a week and use nioxin serum that prevent hair shed. I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my hair loss reduction especially after I wash my hair, there aren’t as much hair strands in my drain.
I’m wishing you the best on your hair recovery journey. You’re beautiful regardless ❤

Giiiirrllll!! I'm having the same issue as you. You might have PCOS or something in your body that's producing DHT. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 31 and have PCOS and due to the hormonal imbalance, basically we make DHT that causes the hair loss. I would have strands and chunks of hair falling out in the shower, and then more when I brush my hair. I take DHT blockers and that has helped tremendously and I'm back to normal hair shedding amount, but it's not helping my hair get out of the sleeping phase and go into the growing phase. If you don't want to take DHT blockers, take natural supplements like Saw palmetto, and pumpkin seed oil to stop the shedding. Those are natural supplements that helps block DHT.
I'm thinking of using Minoxidil for the hair growth to get my hair back fuller, but I'm worried cuz I don't want to go through the "dread shed" phase when using minoxidil. I'm already having low self esteem cuz of the hair loss, and I don't want to lose anymore hair. and i'm worried about my cats, because it's toxic to cats. So I'm trying to see how I can use minoxidil without harming my cat's health.
I wish you luck on your journey girlie! You're not alone here!! Feel free to also reach out and talk if you need. I understand what you're going through and how you're feeling.

I started losing my hair in my late 20s early 30s and took the shaved head route. I am lucky that it kinda works for me.

It's fascinating how YT randomly recommended this video to me, cause I feel like your journey and emotions mirror mine almost to the tee.
I'm 26, and my hair volume has reduced to half of what it used to be 10 years ago. I too used to be the person whose voluminous hair always used to be praised. Breakage, frizziness, roughness, hairfall... You name it, I've got it now. I don't understand how it got so bad myself, but I fully related to so many parts of this video, especially just repeatedly thinking about shaving my hair off just for that sense of freedom and control from the mental/emotional shackles this causes me day in and out. I have a separate folder in my album called 'Hair' where I just keep selfies of baldish areas of my scalp. And.. get this, I have an unhealthy obsession with focusing on the hair of actresses of TV shows/movies whenever I'm watching something, and wishing mine were that healthy. Coming across mirrors is a pain.
Honestly, if it wasn't so taboo for women to go bald in my culture and if I thought I could pull it off (I think I'd look like a boy, I don't have feminine facial features), I would've shaved this all off some time ago. My iron deficiency was also found out 2 months ago, so been taking supplements daily. High five. XD
Before this gets longer, I'd like to say that you're definitely not alone. Also, I think you'd rock a shaved head if you ever decide to go that route. Thank you for sharing.

I'm a male who's catching my hair loss pretty early. I know what you mean about people not quite understanding because it looks fine to them, but I can see it slowly happening. But anyway, the main reason I wanted to comment is because while I'm not a doctor, I've researched this topic to death, so I wanted to give some insight. if your hair loss is from androgenic alopecia, and not from nutrient deficiencies, then I don't think any natural supplements are really going to help much because they won't be addressing the root cause. If it is from androgenic alopecia, that means that it's likely due to your testosterone converting to dihydrotesteosterone (DHT) and your genetic sensitivity to that DHT as it binds to the androgen receptors at the base of your hair follicle, causing it to miniaturize and fall out over time, until the follicle eventually dies.
Now topical minoxidil is just a growth stimulant, it doesn't actually solve the issue, but it is a very safe topical drug. I wouldn't try oral minoxidil though. Oral drugs are always more likely to go systemic and increase your risk of side effects. Anyway, I'm not as familiar with women's hair loss, but I suspect that a dermatologist that specializes in hair loss may suggest a topical anti androgen drug such as spironolactone, which from my understanding, essentially binds to the androgen receptors in your scalp before DHT (and other androgens) can. Most of these drugs (except minoxidil) are messing with your hormones in some way, since they are the ones causing the hair loss, so make sure you research the side effects. You will have to figure it out yourself as far as if it's something you'll want to risk or not.
I've been looking to this for a while to try to figure out if these drugs are worth taking or not, since some of them can cause pretty bad side effects, mostly the 5AR inhibitors which inhibits the enzyme (5AR) that converts testosterone to DHT. I'm pretty sure they try to avoid giving 5AR inhibitors (finasteride/Propecia, dutasteride/Avodart) to women though as it can cause birth defects and some other issues. Having said that, if you really want to get a few more years out of your hair, I would recommend topical minoxidil at least, as long as you can be consistent with it. Ketoconazole shampoo can also help a little as it has mild anti androgenic properties. Also be aware that there is a shedding phase with some of these drugs as your older weaker hair will fall out to make room for the newer stronger hair. There seems to be some debate as to whether your hair will look worse after stopping minoxidil compared to before you started it, so be aware of that as well.

We not only attract who we are but we also become what we think about..if you constantly focus on yout hair loss, the mind will think you want your hair to fall out..your imagination will create the undesired reality unless you change your focus in the opposite polarity...if you want it to grow back, imagine that bevause we create with images..change the movie in your mind..rewrite a new script and follow it..role play

Aw wow, I have the same issue too. I have really curly hair that I don't really straighten that often, but last week I straightened it for the first time in years and I had no idea just how thin my hair is. 😬 I always had thin hair but it seems like it is getting worse. I'm not losing hope though, I'm sure there's remedies for this.. But thank you for sharing, know you are not alone. 🤍

What do you think could be the culprit? Stress? Genetics? Diet? Product? Hormones? There may be a remedy.

The Father, Son, and Spirit are ONE in eternal and UNCREATED life. The equality and unity among the Father, Son, and Spirit is life based...1×1×1=1...
God, a triune being is a Father to a Son, a Son to a Father, all united by an eternal Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 says "let US make man in OUR image"
A man who believes in Christ can be a father to a son, a son to a father, and have an eternal Spirit, the Holy Spirit, inside of Himself and still be ONE being. The Trinity is literally the easiest part of the Bible to understand.
