Your awesome dude, took one of your tccc courses, thoroughly enjoyed it and how you consolidated it, since have passed on to my 9/10 yr daughters. Would like to see more content like this from you
Great topic to cover!!!!Thx!! FYI….. AR in AR500means Abrasion Resistant! We weld AR plate steel in our coal conveyor chutes to slow down the wear from coal as well!!
Most people don't have a choice and must shoot paper because that's what their local range has. I've only shot steel for many years. Paper is good for checking the zero on a new gun or with a new brand of ammo, but once that is done it's a PITA because you have no feedback while shooting. I have plenty of land so I only shoot steel for actual practice. One thing most people overlook is to have cans of black and white paint to touch up the target frequently so you know where the most recent shots are landing. I have a donut shaped piece of metal to make a black aiming point in the center, while the rest of the target gets the impact points covered with cheap white spray paint every mag or two. You can SEE the impact points and correct while shooting, something you can't do with paper. My target has a torso while above it is suspended a ten inch disk. The torso and head make distinctly different sounds so when doing Mozambiques (for instance) you have feedback during the string telling you if you blow a shot. That clang, clang, clang makes shooting fun, as well as well as creating instant feedback. You will be a better shooter if you train on steel.
I had some self healing spinner targets i also shot with hollow point ammo and quickly learned that's a good way to ruin self healing targets. Hollow points act like a cookie cutter to self healing targets.
3D moving targets and the best but on a budget I like paper USPSA and IDPA targets that are the same color as masking tape. I patch my holes with Dollar Tree masking tape or just cut the alpha/down zero out.
Which do you prefer for your shooting practice? Or do you have any tips on better targets?

Thank you for this video. You answered a lot of questions I had about shooting steel targets. 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Steel
Can you make a video about daily or weekly supplements that everyone should be taking like military, lifting, Jujitsu training, 9 to 5 person etc.
I got you!

Oh cool I havent seen full 3d moving tagets but I have seen some of the moving tagets on rail/belt systems.
what if i stick flaking target onto the steel one ?
Well since your asking , both have a place but paper is always superior... Kinda of common sense lol
Except paper doesn't give instant feed back.
Zombie targets are better
