The crazy thing is that this show made Sheldon an interesting character, at least to me and showed a side of the character we partially saw in the original Big Bang Theory show. Sad to see it the show end, and Im amazed at how good it was seeing all these actors grow together is pretty special. Ian Armitage truly embodied the role of Young Sheldon and is as perfectly cast as Jim Parsons was in the role

I'm not. I'd rather Big Bang Theory over this show. It wasn't funny, more family oriented and dived into Sheldon's family life, when I liked Sheldon more as part of the ensemble cast with Leonard, Howard, Rajesh, Amy, Penny, Bernadette, and Stuart.
I like Missy the most, she reminds me of my sister. Rude but caring.
I feel like her caring side wasn’t shown in a while. She has only been rude and condescending for some time now.

Felt was just yesterday that I watched the premiere of "Young Sheldon", now the series is about to end, kids all grown up. Time flys.
This show is my comfort place. I watch it whenever I've had a stressful day.
So true actually....when I have a bad day and I watch this...I suddenly forget my problems as I am so invested in the show...when the episode is over again comes the bad mood
I find it stressful the way Mary treated everyone bad except Sheldon..

Always loved that Laurie Metcalf's daughter played the younger version of Metcalf.
Ya know, I didn't know who she was at first and I kept telling my wife that she looks just like Laurie. And even sounds like her. Then found out it was her daughter. They couldn't have cast a better person in that role.

To be fair, they had a hard time ending Two and a Half Men after Charlie Sheen because it wasn't supposed to end there. Charlie's departure obviously wasn't planned, and other people had contracts and obligations.
The thing with 2 1/2 men was out of his hands. Because Charlie got fired and they had to end his life on the show and then they brought the guy that played Michael Kelso on 70 show. when that happened I couldn’t watch the show anymore.

@@PatDK I'm guessing you never watched, because his character was NOTHING like Charlie. And the show went on for another four years, I believe, and with higher ratings than when Charlie left. So maybe all this is just your opinion.

It is crazy to see how much the kids have grown! Hard to believe it's been 7 seasons. I'll miss this family!

the two most engaging characters for me were George and George Jr. One not optimistic about life and the other optimistic about everything. And all the supporting cast was terrific also. Ed Begley Jr WAS most of the profs I had in college all wrapped into one....
Ed Begley was a pip - he is so underrated , always made me laugh. Just loved him !
Sr knew Mary never let him be happy with a job where he wanted....all revolved around Sheldon and Mary
Iain did a great job playing Sheldon. I love Annie Potts too.
After watching young Sheldon you begin to understand what made Sheldon the person he was when he was older. And to all the actors involved in that process thank you for the laughter and the tears

I really hoped that they are gonna leave it behind the scenes (like when Shelon went to Caltech). But... It was so heartbreaking 😢 Especially when George finally got his dream job, Mary and Missy are so supportive, and they are so excited to start this new chapter in their lives... that hits way harder
You can almost see the transitions between all 3, young Sheldon trying to find out who he is, middle Sheldon knowing what he’s capable of and lets nothing in his way, older Sheldon Coming to terms he can excel while at the same time relaxing and joining the “average” human lifestyle and personalities
Such an amazing experience has this show been for me. I never expected it to start where it did and have so much character development for all characters. Such an incredible open end.
The original Sheldon was the person you always wondered why the people around him stayed around him. The young Sheldon seemed like just a way to rip off the former popularity BUT they ran with it wonderfully. Ended making Sheldon more of a person.
Sheldon in TBBT was my least favorite character. So annoying...I could never stand to be around someone like that. Young Sheldon by contrast is one of my favorites.

I loved Young Sheldon so much. All the characters are so lovable. Such a well written and warm story. Last season was more special for me. The George and marry relationship, whole family dynamics with Cece and Maddy. Its like everything is just perfect. I am gonna miss the show so much

I want Jim parsons to be the producer for the Henry danger movie with Jace Norman collab we need someone better than Dan, Jim parsons and Jace Norman should work together as a team for the upcoming movie for Henry danger franchise, Dan is disgusting and gross and he likes to look at people’s Stinky feet, I’m glad that Quiet on set is released already.

@@omarcogle1965 Henry danger is a different universe than Young Sheldon, Henry danger is Nickelodeon and YS is CBS/TBS paramount and Jace Norman and Cooper Barnes are apart of the show for the Henry danger franchise, Jim parsons is not, That is why Jace Norman got the role as Henry hart in Henry danger because he knew he could be perfect the role for a superhero in Swellview as kid danger, In 2020 he was also the producer for Danger force under Christopher J nowak and Evelyn Belasco. That is why they are making a third spin off about Henry leaving his Swellview years to be come the hero for Dystopia, I believe the Henry danger movie is going to be in Vancouver. I wish Cooper Barnes had the role of Sheldon cooper in the Big Bang theory both him Iain Armitage would have fit the role for both adult Sheldon and Young Sheldon perspectively and plus Jim’s parson’s voice is higher than Iain’s and cooper Barnes voice is lower when he played captain man in Henry danger but when he yells his voice goes up when he’s mad at Schowz.

My first American shows,started it about 5 months ago and binged it in 1 months.really loved it and never thought the ending would be like this,but the journey was very good.thanks to all the cast,crew and writers who made this great show ❤️

I’m glad they are ending it the way they are, and continuing on with Georgie having a show! Also, having Jim Parsons showing up in the finale with Mayim! I just hope they bring back most of the cast like Zoe Perry and Annie Potts! Love this series as well as the original The Big Bang Theory!

It's only natural to make a show with Georgie, his wife and baby. Then the others can show up from time to time. But MeeMaw needs to be in the cast regularly.

I have to wait till September to watch all of season 7 on Netflix but I’ve seen the death scene and I got emotional, I only started watching young sheldon a few months ago and honestly I’m sad to see it go, but I’ve seen every episode in every season so I feel like I’ve watched it for years instead of being in my room for 6 hours a day binging 2 seasons a day. This is definitely my comfort show

I have to admit that, as a huge "Big Bang" fan, I didn't really warm to "Young Sheldon" at first. It took me a few attempts to get into it. But now I love the show. It's a shame that it's almost over now.

This show will always remain close my heart. I started watching it during lockdown, I was down with COVID and in isolation. This show made a difficult time a bit easy
Truly hope some of these characters are integrated into the new show.
i don't see how they won't be. georgie is said to take care of his mother and little sister. Meemaw will probably phase out but maybe she'll cameo. same with sheldon, he might cameo. I think this is less a spin off and more a rebranding since the father won't be around and it won't be sheldon's memoir anymore. The voice over will leave and it will probably just be us watching the family in general.
@@story3877 From a cast interview I just watched there's going to be one other change. It's going to be filmed in front of a live audience like Big Bang Theory was. I'm pretty sure Annie Potts is going to stay in the show because everybody likes her and the only one actually leaving town is Sheldon. I'm guessing Paige is going to become a regular cast member which they were planning on making her if she hadn't had scheduling conflicts because she's got a bit of the socially dysfunctional nerd thing Sheldon brought to the show and has an established history of getting Missy in trouble George Sr isn't going to be around to keep her from hanging out with. It starts filming in July.

My wife and myself love the series very much. Thank you for making available in Netflix in my country without the need to use a VPN. Seeing the kids grow up in the TV series is such a joy and god bless to team making this wonderful series.

I really enjoyed the series! I remember struggling with my ed and bingewatching the first two seasons to distract myself. Eversince I've watched every episode and became a huge fan! 'The' episode had me bawling, I knew it was coming but it just hit hard.
Seeing this just makes me realize times flies…..so flipping fast

Steve Lorre; "It's a beautiful way to land the plane" This is the first series ending I've ever seen that was perfect. That's even more notable because I did NOT want this series to end. Chuck Lorre and everybody else on this show is brilliant!

I can’t even say how much I will miss this show. As a former educator, I had contact with some children who very much like Sheldon. What made the show so terrific was the writing. It was the essence of good comedy. You didn’t know when the joke was coming. Much like Big Bang. And that last episode; shocking and very sad. My best wishes to all the actors. I’ll be watching the spin off, and maybe some cameo’s by “not so young” Sheldon!?❤❤❤

This show showed us why sheldon was how he was and also gave us an explaination on his behaviour.
I understand why he is hard on people and its just because how people have treated him from his young age.
People not understanding him and calling him 'WEIRDO!", shows why he hated people.
I loved the show very much and have ben folling it since its start and for sure going to watch it few more times.
I don't really watch or follow the show, or haven't yet, but the fact they pulled this off as well as they did is really quite remarkable. From executing an interesting spinoff, to nailing the casting, young talent stepping in and giving performances well beyond their years... just well done all around, a lot of talent and effort went into this series.
I sosos loved this show. I didn’t watch the Big Bang until Young Shelton. We don’t have tv so all my shows are on the I pad. Thank you for the entertainment.

Man... what a good show!! I'll miss it so, so much! I grew up watching TAHM, then TBBT now another chapter has ended, thanks for the memories! Just found out there will be Georgie and Mandy First Marriage as a spinoff and so another chapter begins! Would love to see a reboot of TBBT as well with this style of sitcom, this version of Sheldon meeting Leonard then Penny and everyone again would be great!

I think what is awesome about the show is it explained TBBT's character. A lot of times with characters, we wonder how they became the way they are. And we'll have to wait and hope the writers will reveal more after the show is over or something. And given how... unique Sheldon is as an adult, his backstory is much appreciated!
