Hi-Fi Rush is still a 10 out of 10 experience and I reckon this update is definitely stronger as a game, adding enjoyable game modes and challenges. Though they may have added easily the hardest and most skillful achievement to the list, makes me curious how many people are going to unlock the EX MODE achievement haha.
This was a different style of video from me, the shortest video I've ever put out and won't affect my normal achievement grind video schedule so stayed tuned for CULT OF THE LAMB NEXT WEEK!
10/10 Game, 10/10 Achievements (Talking about the new achievements cause they were fun, challenging and unique, also not grindy).

It actually doesn't.
Only if it's close enough to your heart rate, which is generally around 60-80 bpm, depending on the person and a bunch of other stuff so probably not

PRO TIP: For ‘Chain Reaction’, start a fresh run, get to Floor 4, see if ‘Self-Destruct’ buff is an option. If not, suspend run, go back in, it’ll refresh the offerings. This floor often has a bunch of low tier enemies. Best spot to try get this challenge done. 🙏
Is the buff actually called self destruct? this is the last challenge I need and the only buff I keep getting is the one that makes enemies death explosions hurt you.

I never knew what Hi-Fi Rush was until I saw your videos on it, and I must say, these videos are pretty entertaining.
I can proudly say i'm part of the 0.3% of people who made it towards the last achievement (Steam Global). Got the platinum. Took me 65 hours. Thanks for the video ! You should be proud !

do you have tips for doing challenges all in one run for level up tower up? the challenge rooms are kinda difficult
you cant, most of em require you to level up certain areas (defense, etc) fully...and i think one of the challenges is to not upgrade at all..

Alr this is kinda unfair but. Do all of geometry dashs achievements. It's the hardest game in the world. Yes it's harder than dark souls if you play online levels.
This game needs a co op DLC update that includes a second character, like Chai’s brother who unlike him isn’t cocky and has common sense and not to mention an option where you could solo play as him and see how the game changes. Also he has 2 characteristics the first is he takes the plan seriously and thinks on how to tackle it and he also admits when his ideas are terrible such as the cannon plan, after he’s asked if shooting himself out of a cannon was his idea he could reply with a comment like “Never said it was a good one.”
His 2nd characteristic is that he would make a joke without even knowing. Here’s an example: (Note this is after the grind rail part in Track 2)
2nd character: “Ow. Never doing that again.”
Peppermint: “Should’ve taken the stairs.”
2nd character: “I know, I know, where am I at least?”
Peppermint: “You’re surprisingly close to Rekka’s office.”
2nd character: “That’s good news for me, but I’ll need to be more productive with my route decisions from now on.”
Peppermint: “pffft he he.”
2nd character: “What?”
Peppermint: “Well that was pretty funny since you said “productive” while in Production.”
2nd character: “What? What’s funny? I don’t get it.”
Peppermint: “Never mind, forget what I said.”
And he also has a Left Vandelay robot arm to replace his broken left human arm.
This whole idea was inspired by the player 2 costume set in the costume store, I doubt this will get noticed by the developers but if it does and gets added into the game, then Goddamnit I will be one hell of a lucky guy.
