- In an attempt to strengthen our catalyst characters for the Spiral Abyss, we set out to obtain the Fruit of Fulfillment for a hyperbloom Lisa (while pulling along the way). Will it actually help our account? I guess we'll find out.
This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.

Java, I'm begging you. try this team in abyss: 1 half - Barbara, Mona, Wriothesley, Sucrose. You will pull enemies together and constantly freeze them, also you will have some heals. 2 half - Kokomi, Yae Miko, Nahida, Neuvillette. You will have heals and pocket aggravate/quicken damage, and in the third flour you can easily beat dragon with this team.
Doesn't this 1st team rely heavily on Wrio being well built?
Although it doesn't need much EM, so Sucrose can have ER weapon/sands, so at least she should be easier to build than usual. With a Prototype Amber and Fav Codex on the team, Wrio shouldn't have too many energy problems either I guess.
Yes and no I would say. In case of Java he must be well build because damage is not very good but still there are constant freeze that can help a lot. Just as you said, yes, he need ER most to get his ult ready in few seconds after using it but in crits it all goes as sucrose will be battery of the team. Still I think this teams are best in case of abyss for Java right now, only if he will switch Barbara for Charlotte to get more cryo into the team but hydro status that Barbara can give with Wrio will be better.@@alexprus7953

@@logan_bogan I've used him since he came out at c0 and haven't ever felt like her has underperformed. His c1 is a major buff but he "needs" it no more than Hu Tao needs c1 or Raiden "needs" c2
If you have done sumeru reputation you should have a device that lets you farm wood, so you wont need to struggle doing it.

There is a Sumeru gadget for reputation that lets you collect wood
8:50 The answer is you have to hit it in one of its glowing cores, which is really hard to do. Best way is with an archer who can spam normal attacks really quickly or who you can aim cancel with and do rapid shots. You just start shooting and pray you hit one of the cores. A catalyst might be able to do it but I'm an archer main so I always have an archer on the team and thus have never tried it.
I’d also swap a few weapons around. Ballad for Mona, Widsith for Yae, Atlas for Wrybread, Fav for Xianyun and I’d let Kokomi and Baizhu fight over Prototype Amber. (I personally use Hakushin on my Baizhu)

@@caterpillarking Yes, but billets are so hard to come by so I'm not going to go "just craft this". I can't even craft a second PA because I haven't had a catalyst billet drop since Baizhu debuted. So almost a year.

Yes! More teapot for everyone. It's so useful! It takes up some resources upfront for unlocking stuff, but it's so nice being able to buy artifact exp, books or mora when needed (I'm currently doing artifacts since I stocked up on the others again).
You should still put the account rejects in the pot though for passive frienship farming (in the house. They load faster). You can then build the furniture sets for everyone for the gift freemos.
Also, don't be worried about wood. You just need the Sumeru gadget from city reputation to collect it for Spells (by the way, Itto's wood chuck passive on Geo does actually work with it). A good wood speed run trick though, the game only registers the last 10 individual trees you farmed. So if you rotate between clusters, you can farm infinitely as long as you get like past 11 before cycling back. So the one eastern pond in Mondstadt has a bunch of birch clusters along its perimeter (tutorial pond maybe?). You can just orbit the pond and infinitely farm birch trees. Or the pine/fir trees in Mondstadt city. There's several good locations across the map for the various trees to do this trick. You won't even have to convert ores into wood each week with this trick.

Now this might be how you do it, but even knowing that it is always incredibly unreliable for me. He and Wenuth suck as Abyss bosses.

Am I the only one, who really enjoyed the Aranara-quest?! I mean, I'm a huge lore-enthusiast, so that might be why, but I really had a lot of fun during this quest!
You should definitely try Neuvillette in second half in Abyss. He has no problems with the snakes, his burst knocks Wenut down easily and he can even hit the robot chicken while it is flying.
The ruin serpet gets knocked down after you damage all its glowing segments, overload works wonders for this.

Hi Java for the two spheres onchamber 1 1st half of the abyss, neuvillete can instantly paralyze them when they get the dendro shield by using his skill. This is cause of the pneuma arkhe arrow that hits them.
ALSO also neuvillete can still hit the drake with charge attacks while it is flying lol

You can also farm the dark statues from the abyss herald in enkanomiya as well.
The teapot give you lot of free resources that you can buy from the shop when you done creating the highest level. The free artifact xp, xp book and mora could be helpful imo.

If you want to collect woods, there is a gadget you can get from sumeru reputation which let you gets woods when used near a tree
9:00 you need to hit all the glowing parts of that snake to stun it, but good look with that. I found no reliable way other then multihit bursts with aoe like kazooha, alheithem, keking and other butchered names...

As someone who farms fungi daily for level exp on my challenge account and hit 9999 Luminescent Pollen the other day, fungi are the easiest mob to farm when you know the routes. Bare minimum you can hop in the area under the Dendro chicken (+2 in the path behind the waypoint) to get a lot of them. Just make sure to wait a bit near the anemo one so it spawns it’s 3 other friends (in co-op you’ll need the owner of the world to do this).
Well, i 36* this abyss on my catalyst only account.
Teams: firts half - Yanfei (c6, prot amber, full noblesse, full hp + er), Sucrose (c3, sac frag, full vv, full em), Kokomi (c1, ttds, full millileth, healing bonus + hp) and Neuvellette (c0, sac jade (r1)/prot amber(r5), full hunter set, dps build). On the second half - Yae Miko (c0, widsith, full golden troupe, em sands crit build), Nahida (c0, signature weapon, full gilded dreams, two em +dendro bonus build), Baizhu (c1, prot amber, full deepwood, half hp/half em build), Lisa (c4 (yeah, i buy her cons), fav codex, full emblem, atk/crit build + em on the side of possible).
It took some optimization and better abyss buffs, but it was doable all three times this abyss rotated. Also most of these characters are crowned or have talents 9-9-9. I'm going for c1 Neuv next patch, because i got tired of interruptions, and Yanfei's shield is not enough sometimes. I also have some ideas on how to improve some builds, but i have no luck in artifacts lately and i mostly was focusing on talents and mora anyway. It's a slow process, but i think it's possible to get 36* in abyss every time. It's just current abyss was easy, same with 4.1. The rest cycles were hard and i managed to 33-35* abyss depending on my laziness. We'll see how it goes. Still want Mona (no Mona after a year and a half of doing catalyst only challenge), i'm tempted to pull on the new banner ngl.
Java I recommend putting wriothesley on lost prayer or widsith (thats what mines is on) and usually a good combo for him is 2-3 normal attacks before the third. I believe freeze is more convenient though his damage really comes through during melt.

I don't understand all of this hate for the aranara's quest. The aranara just want to be friends with you! And never let you go... EVER! So lovely right?
On my catalyst account, I ran Neuvillette, Charlotte, Sucrose and Baizhu on the second half with the idea being spend 90% of the time on Neuvillette (second half).
First half I ran Nahida, Yae, Lisa, and Kokomi. with both Yae and Lisa built for aggravate damage (not full EM). There is no good way to build a hyperbloom team on a catalyst only account. You either lack hydro app or you lack core targeting with your electro depending on who is on field. You can kind of make it work with non-mobile enemies but even then I found better results just building crit and electro dmg% artifacts (EM sands for Yae and ER sands for Lisa).
I really like these teams when only using catalysts! I do run a couple variations of them, though they don't really work well with the current Abyss imo. One is Neuvillette, Baizhu, Lisa, and Sucrose/Charlotte (Sucrose if bosses, Charlotte for multiple enemies) and the other variation is Mona, Kokomi, Nahida, Yae

Yae totems can knock down the last boss from flying if they hit their wings core, although the totems have to be placed in certain spots around the edges of the abyss
You probably got this a lot but there is a gadget to help you gather wood it is called The Boon of the Elder Tree and I believe you get it from Inazuma reputation
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Lisa is only viable in Hyperbloom with her C4 (because her burst hits multiple targets thanks to that constellation).
So, yeah, she would be better with Neuvi (or as a battery/burst support for Miko with the Inazuman catalyst) until you get her cons.

15:00When Wriothesley is equipped with Widsith, melting is better than freezing. You can have Nahida and Klee set their opponents on fire and make sure Wriothesley can reverse melt

1. don't spend the resin
2. fight childe on the lowest difficulty
3. do it three times
4. instant BP profit
java, i know this is spells only, but the geo account's time has come. there are a bunch of geo characters out rn (itto, chiori, gorou, yun jin) GET READY FOR THE BLUES
Btw chiori is good for geo only because she works with mono geo!
I don't know if you'll see this, but I just wanna say thank you.
I discovered this spells only account/series a while ago, and at that time I was experiencing a ton of Genshin burnout. Genshin to me was something to play when I was stressed, but it just started causing me more stress. I didn't want to drop the game, but I couldn't bring myself to play it. I got inspiration from your spells only account, and it helped me find something new and enjoyable to do. Now, I can play the game without feeling dread and I don't have to drag myself to do my daily commissions.
So, congrats on making it to 50 episodes (whatever you would call them), and I hope that you can continue to play the game and make content. Though, if you ever feel burnout, hopefully people understand that you're human and won't get mad at you for not posting. Good luck on getting whatever it is that you want to pull for.
Also, I feel the agony of Aranara, and I could feel the pain in your words when you talked about the quest. It took me around 2 months to do it, cause I never had characters that could shoot the dendro things...
I didn't watch the whole video before writing this part, so you might have found a solution already, but for wood in the teapot you can either convert other materials into wood, or get a gadget in Sumeru that collects wood. I don't remember where to get it, but it might be from another Aranara quest.
