Working class - people who generate most of their income from their own Labour Not working class - people who generate most of their income from other people's labour
I don't know why you're whining, this has been the case since the literal dawn of civilization. Someone owned the land that food grew on so got a bigger house than everyone else that came along and helped grow it to survive.
You are correct. Workers are those who earn their money from their own labour, 'be their wages high or low', Small business owners who employ people buy labour from others and sell that labour at a profit. Think of a business employing cleaners. They pay perhaps minimum wage but charge twice that to their customers.
Working people create all the wealth. A working person is someone who does not own the means of production but works for a wage in order to subsist from one day to the next.
Labour have lost my vote along with the Tories. Never voting for either ever again. Both sides are filled with horrible self interested people desperate to get the most for themselves at the expense of everyone else in society.
Labour promised to change the way government is done, but after years in opposition criticising the then Tories for never answering a question they are now doing the same thing. Seems clear to me from the way both sides of the house are laughing and joking, they’re all doing it at the expense of the average working person while they jointly ride the MP Gravey Train. And finally, I new JoB would not hold Labour to the same account as the Tories but his level of bias undermines any moral journalistic high ground he claims to have.

Most of the middle class generates most of their income from their own labour? Unless you put middle class with working class?

The middle class is a wooly definition that means whatever people want it to. Stick to the relationship to the means of production

If you can be squeezed even harder to give up your hard earned money, you are working class!
You'll be happy then that the Tories who raised taxes to the highest ever (with correspondingly worse public services) are gone then?
I sometimes come here to see if im wrong? im not , this guy cant get over himself
If you no longer vote Labour you are working class!😊
