Also don't worry too much abort understanding the story from the trailers because they are all scenes from in game so all of the context is missing and you won't be able to get a good estimation of what's happening until you actually play the story in game
Yes, that definitely seems to be the case from what others are telling me. But still, it'll be fun to see just how different it ends up being from my initial guesses (strictly from these videos that I checked out)! Can't wait to play it this week. hehe

I like this type of style and the story it's interesting so far...
How exciting! Ahhhhhh, hearing you say that makes me wanna play it already. T^T I gotta be patient though... I'll be playing it soon... SOON! XD
The story is so addicting. I blew through it in a couple days (probably should've gone a bit slower) and can safely say you can excel without spending a dime.

@@Trailblazer_Ririna Yeah but I also stayed up too late playing, although I must add that a game hasn’t made me emotional in forever the way this one did. It’s a good pick up if you enjoy visual novels paired with fun and intricate gameplay
If you wanna check out some more characters from the game, I'd also recommend checking Reverse 1999's shorts since they posted some character demos.
I almost forgot that they have character demo shorts! I'll add that to the list. Although I might wait until I have a bit more videos piled up that I need to react to for React: 1999~ Part 2 is already ready to be released next week though.
@@Trailblazer_RirinaYeah I'd suggest waiting on that too since while they do have a few shorts out, I don't think it's enough for a full vid lol.
I think some other stuff that could be used to pad a react video would be checking out a compilation of all of the ultimates in the global version. There's also a Hong Kong Reverse 1999 channel that does contain trailers for later content that's not out in the global version yet and they are in English (they are listed as "PV"s and usually a version number like 1.2), but idk if you want to check those since its sort of spoilers for upcoming events lol.

Hiya remember me? I've been around not saying much. I have been playing Reverse 1999 for a little over a week and it has been great! Vertin has been a really cool MC and her song is also great! Reacting to the 3 ep's mentioned could be cool. I've been busy but I'll keep an eye on your discord and channel still.

Yeah, I'd say give it a shot. Game is very much focused on the story and world building, so I recommend it highly recommend if you're into that. Just note that the story is non-linear so don't worry too much if stuff happens and you don't exactly understand what's going on; alot of the time you get info that won't be understood until later, and it feels like you don't fully understand everything until checking the whole story twice, which is pretty crazy for a gacha game.
I find the gameplay to be pretty fun, though I like card games so it might be different from person to person. I'd say the game is F2P friendly until you reach the end game content; you can do the story mode with free and lower rarity characters without too much issue, and alot of lower rarity characters can be used later on due to how important team building combos are (someone already found a really strong team that involves the 2 star "joke" character, Door, who is literally just a glass shard). The game I feel gives a good amount of rolls (I've been saving like 80 rolls for whenever Pickles the dog gets added in a few weeks cuz he's a good boi :) )
Favorite character btw is Vertin, but if you meant playable unit, then it would be Regulus probably.
HECK YES! I love story and world-building-focused games. hehe And I especially like it when stories are non-linear. Not that I dislike linear stories, but it's fun when the story is non-linear too~ I too like card games, so it'll be interesting to see what the functionality of it is like! Is end game content something that I need to do to better understand the world/story? Or is it not relevant (and meant for those who just like end game content)? Never had much interest in end game for any games I've played so far, so quite curious about this!

I gave the game a try this week, and fell in love with it. I got it on mobile, but because I don't really use sounds on mobile and I just wanted to give it a try, I ended up skipping through the story. After I started liking the game, I got interested with the story and started another account on pc this time, and the story makes it even better.
Sameeee!! I played it just yesterday and the hours flew by so fast! This is seriously my new favorite game. T^T And the story is just... Gosh, I love it so much!
Having started the game I really like Vertin as the MC For other playable characters I really like Druvis III and Bkornblume.
So far its F2P friendly. They give you a 6Star Char in the first 30pulls. Pity is alreeady on 60 pulls
Wait, the first 30 pulls?!? How nice. Is it for a Standard Banner 6-star character?
Its between 3 Characters Regulus, Lylia and Eternity - all great chars with Eternity being one of the best char currently even "Meta-wise"
. Its a special beginner banner that just allows 30 pulls. You also get the pulls quickly as after finishing Chapter 1-4 you get 10 pulls as reward in the mail. So should you stream it you will have a 6Star for certain
After each Event the new characters end up in the Standard. So its harder to get a specific one in the Standard banner. Another reason why its F2p friendly is that there is "weapon" banner its just the Chars
@@MegaApostel Hmmmm, so only for those three characters. I wonder which one I'll end up getting! I think I only recognize the name, Regulus, but no one else. haha So it'll be a nice surprise! I find it interesting that they put all the new characters in the Standard, but I kinda like that. Never pulled for weapons (except twice in a game), so this fits well with me. :D
a lot of people re rolled their acount til they got Regulus ^^ Eternity so far was only in a short and no part of the story.
Lilya is shortly seen in the chapter 3 trailer.
Another cool thing is that if you ascend your 4-6 Star chars they get a new splash art and icon. If you start now you also will profit from the first event that has nice rewards
I've been playing it since last sunday and its a great game in every aspect, its very free to play friendly so far though the launch events help alot with that as well.
Also, unlike other gacha games u only pull for characters not gear wich u get via daily stages or events.
The story is great though and VERY brutal, on level with Honkai Impact 3rd wich is saying something.
I've been playing the PC client and so far i have had no problems with it, they even have a option in the sound menu to turn off sound whenever u minimize the game wich is great when auto battling resource stages.
HECK YEAHHHH!!! I love that I don't need to pull for gear. That has always been the bane of my existence. lol If anything, I'm more of a character collector (if I went down the route of a collector) anyway. :P
I trust your words! Since the story is as great and as brutal as HI3, I'm going to be soooooooo extremely happy. hehe Anything to that level is a plus in my eyes~

Vertin is 100% my favorite type of character design-wise and judging from the trailers and all that, her personality might be my type as well. T^T Gosh, I'm so excited to play the game soon!

Ooo, is it? I hadn't heard much about it until one of my subscribers recommended that I check out the trailers and whatnot for this game. XD I really love the style that I'm seeing so far. And the music... Well, that'll be for Part 2. hehe
@@Trailblazer_Ririna yes, the story is very good so far, first event started today and its interesting as well. it take some time to finish reading all the stories, but for the dailys, it takes mins to finish them. i hate it when games make you do lots of dailys and weeklys.

Haha same. I usually pretend that the dailies and weeklies don't exist for all the games that I play! It makes the playing experience a lot more enjoyable (unless I'm in the grinding mood). The plot just sounds super fascinating, and since you say that the story is very good so far, I think I'll raise my expectations a little more for this game~ hehe

The Star Level are 3-6 Stars. Three are common, Four are Uncommon, Five are Rare and Six are Very Rare. I managed to pull a Six Star Regulus when I was playing.
3-6 Stars! That's quite a big range. So I guess it's extremely difficult to pull a 6 early, unless you're at pity?
@@Trailblazer_Ririna To be fair it IS a gacha game so the odds of getting a Six Star is rather low right off the bat. There is a vid on all 3-6 Star characters as of right now.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna3-6 stars is a big range but that's because unlike gachas you may be familiar with like honkai the rates for stuff like materials and weapons that makes up like 90% of the pulls you get don't exist as you pull only characters, the actual rate percentage of getting 6* is actually equal or better than the rates of getting say s ranks or 5* and such in honkai or genshin so it would be better to say you're actually more likely to get 6* early plus the pity is 70

I LOVE IT! haha It's so hard for me to get an S-Rank Battlesuit in HI3, so I'm happy that it's much easier to get a 6* here than in the Hoyo games. XD and with a lower pity. So it's guaranteed for the next pity after you lose the 50/50, right? Just like in Hoyo games?
@@Trailblazer_Ririna yes, 50/50 if you lose then the next 6* is the banner character I'd like to add that the stigmatas/ weapons don't exist as the "weapons" in this game are the psychubes which are unobtainable outside of events that give free ones or through farming only, this game has a much stronger focus on the story and the only tedious thing is the actual farming but since the farming finishes so quickly it doesn't feel like a chore to keep up with it it only feels annoying when you're trying to level a character quickly as it takes a long while to level characters
