- It was such a beautiful Fall day, I decided to make a video of a round trip from Cory's farm to one of his rented properties in the Ford F600 while hauling corn.
Amen to the first picture of the sticker 👍🏻
My mechanic friend Joe picked that up for me when he was at the HPOCA (Oliver/Hart Par collectors club) show in New York back in September, I think. I just had to put it on the dump truck. I put it up high enough for people to see it.
Charlie it is a beautiful area you live in, the F600 runs so good, that truck is set up and built for ever, thanks for the video
It's been a really good truck for me so far. Minor things have had to be repaired, but that's to be expected. I consider it a pretty good purchase. Thanks for stopping by Jan.
Very beautiful countryside, especially on such a great fall day.
I just wish the leaves had still be colorful, but they were past prime time, unfortunately.
Thanks for the ride Charley! Nice day for a cruse in the F600.
Glad you came along and enjoyed the ride. It was a beautiful day to haul corn.
Funny how we forget the date once we retire. Maybe a sign we’ve relaxed a bit from the old 9-5. Love the sound of the truck going through the gears. Reminds me of taking loads to the elevator as a kid in the old ‘48 Chevy. We had a lane just like that to get to the south fields. Pretty country. Those corn hilltops look like home too. Thanks for the ride-along.
I'm glad my video brought back pleasant memories for you from your past, Dave.
Beautiful road trip Charlie. Safe harvest
Thank you, Matthew, for being a faithful viewer and subscriber. I appreciate you stopping by and I'm glad you enjoyed the trip.
Good video, truck sounds great too - nice views...👍
Thank you. The truck is 37 years old and continues to "purr". Glad you enjoyed the video.
Enjoyed the ride and the video!
Thanks for riding along, Cousin Scott. Glad you enjoyed it.
It’s always great to go for a ride in the area that you live in is so beautiful
Thank you. I've lived here all my life and absolutely love it.
Hey Charlie good evening buddy and good evening Eric and Michelle
Good evening and thanks for stopping by.
@@pagrainfarmer absolutely welcome brother I've been subscribed to you ever since I found out and about your Channel through SBF he's the one that told me about your Channel and I've been subscribed ever since and that was in 2018 or 2019
Glad you subscribed. Very happy to have you aboard and hope to hear from you again. SBF and I are good friends and he was the inspiration behind me making this video. @@PeterbiltBoy359-Kyle
@@pagrainfarmer 👍 most definitely I like Oliver's too the first ever video I watched of yours Charlie was you talking about the 77 I've always wanted me a decent Super 88 diesel I just like the style and way those old tractors look and I like them all though I'm partial to Allis Chalmers case and JD I've always wanted to make me a collection of sorts of those I'll get there one day
I have a video on my channel of my Super 88 - however, it's gas and not diesel. Cool tractor, though.@@PeterbiltBoy359-Kyle
Good evening everybody
Good evening Eric. Hope things are well out in the eastern part of the state. I was out that way a month ago and probably went past your farm on I-80 on my way to New Hampshire.
That was a beautiful ride. Does the combine get through the treed up field road, looks really narrow?
Yes. It even makes it with the corn head on. IN years when Cory has soybeans on that property, he does have to haul the flex head over separately because it IS too wide for the driveway.
I always like the ride in the truck. Looks so steep around. Id hate to have to meet someone on those roads. Through your GoPro they look so narrow.
It IS pretty steep in spots and the back roads are very narrow. Challenging at times, for sure.
Charlie, This is a beautiful time of the season, my favorite. I live also in Western PA about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Your trip was appreciated. And if you're ever talking to your mechanic Joe, this summer I bought a 570 Cockshutt, diesel a Hercules engine about 65 hp. About 15 years ago this guy's family puts biofuel in the tank never did anything with it within a year the rubber lines had a black tar that ruined them, the metal lines were cleaned with an ultrasonic fluid, and then I had to go and get the igniters and pump redone. After five months it now runs, but the rings seem to be stuck in at least one cylinder. Any ideas you can share with me to put in the oil and the fuel to help out. We have put Marvel mystery oil and A TV fluid in the fuel lines but so far nothing in the oil. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thank you, Skip, Western PA
Hi Skip. Nice to meet a fellow western Pennsylvanian. I'm located east of Pittsburgh. In terms of your problem, I'll check with my buddy Joe and see what he says.
Charlie, I assumed wrong, I thought you were somewhere a little east of Mercer. I'm about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh in Beaver County. I appreciate the ride with you. Skip@@pagrainfarmer
My wife is from Beaver County@@skipruckert4605
I talked yesterday to Joe about your stuck rings. He said what has always worked for him is to put STP oil treatment in the engine oil and run it. He can't guarantee it to work, but he has had very good success with it getting rings unstuck. Good luck!
Charlie, I appreciate the ideas I'll let you know how things turned out! Skip.. Please thank , Joe
Very scenic ride Charlie, thanks for taking us all along. The old F600 sure runs nice, I know its a gas motor but do you know what cubic inch it is?
Actually, it’s a 8.2L Detroit Diesel
Nice! That' should make a nice hauler. Thanks Charlie
