Thank you ever so much, Paul! Very interesting for,me: the different ways of masking and the effects on the edges of objects.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the edit of my old shed pic with the almost unnoticeable exposure issue 😂.
I made my edit in early 2022 before the advent of auto masking and before I knew of techniques such as reverse clarity on areas of the sun etc.
I have found my original raw edit but had obviously fiddled with it a lot after I made the jpeg I sent you. Now that I look at it, all I did was make it worse, so I have deleted all my changes and will start again. I had far too many fiddly masks and adjustments.
Definitely a case of less is more with your edit.
I learn a little more every time I watch one of your videos, so thank you.
Once again very valuable tips. Thank you very much, Paul.
The editing of the sunset with the farmhouse, great.
I have a photo of the salt marshes in Brittany in progress and have done the negative clarity and negative dehaze with a gentle highlight boost and yes my image has got better.
It's that little extra, like the right dosage of salt, thanks Paul.
Glad it helped! :-)
OMG - I have had issues with the healing brush occasionally and was never able to figure out why it wasn't working properly. Thank you for explaining the mechanics of how that works!!
Does have capture one generative fill? 🤔🤔
Nope 😀
Hi , very strong but what about the noise ? The noise is very poor vs lightroom .
What about the noise? NR is always a trade-off between image quality and artefacts / mushing of content.
