Cool vid, and it would have been nice to hear you belt out a few chords on it. But it's a nice looking little Tele. I actually bought it's little brother - the Bullet Strat - also in that same Lake Placid Blue. It's a cool little budget axe. I'm going to throw in a loaded pick-guard with a Hot rail (knock-off) in the bridge position. And we'll see what happens. One of 3 or 4 little projects I have going. I want the Tele - same color. But I'm going with the Affinity they just brought out. Just a little better quality.
I had to take this one back to Guitar center because of the issue with the fretboard Crack near the nut.didnt want any issues down the road.I swapped it for the red sparkle for my wife.She loves it.now,I'm ordering another lake Placid blue because Guitar Center has then on sale right now...but,definitely watch my other video on the Indio Retro Classic Sunburst...honestly,this $79 guitar beats this squire in every way..it's built like a tank.if your into teles,these Indios are radical!! I'm getting the white when it's back in stock,and still listed at $79.
@@overnightguitarist5063 Came back to this vid..... 5 months later. LOL I never got the Affinity, for whatever reason. Different weeks... different hot buttons type of thing. LOL But I just ended up picking this exact guitar up a few days ago..... the bullet Tele. Lake Placid Blue. I LOVE it. Man... I couldn't resist when I saw it in the shop. Grabbed it right up, and I have been a little surprised. I dig Squier Guitars.... but this thing is amazing. I got lucky too - the one they had was really solid, and even set up pretty well. I just need to drop the saddles down a bit. Not much - just a tad. I'm also seeing your older comment. Sounds like you traded it, got the red sparkle for the Wifey... but picked another of these up for yourself. Good on you. I hope the 2nd one is as good as the one I got. I love this guitar!
Don't go tapping the frets unless they are visible unseated or "springing". You'll probably just need to do a proper fret leveling on them. Same with any cheap guitar unless you just get really lucky. As for the cracked fretboard, I'd return that guitar pronto! too late? Wick some thin super glue into it and hope for the best I guess.

I heard baking soda and superglue works on repairs?
I would have taken it back to guitar center and got my money back with those issues.

@G.C. always caveat emptor...
Normally in a review you play the guitar
