tbh i think they originally wrote The Santa Clause to be a Christmas horror movie but then decided to turn it into a family-friendly Christmas movie in order to make more profit and then decided to cast Tim Allen since he was big at the time. cause think about it, if they went with the original idea of The Santa Clause being a Christmas horror movie it wouldn’t have made much money but now it’s widely considered to be one of the best Christmas movies due to the change in marketing. in this essay i will- happy holidays
